Key West

Key West is also known asthe westernmost key, sitting among the thousands of islands and reefs of the Florida Keys at the far southwest end of the archipelago. It is a tropical coral island and the southernmost city in the continental United States, facing Cuba across the sea, and is often called the United States' land's end. U.S. Highway 1 extends out over the water via dozens of bridges, linking the Keys to mainland Florida. One stretch, the Seven Mile Bridge, spans open sea with blue water on both sides, and the drive across it is often a highlight of the trip. Most of the island's sights are concentrated in the old town: Duval Street is lined with brightly painted wooden houses, galleries, bars, and shops; theHemingway Homestill houses the famous six-toed cats; Truman's Little White House, where he spent winters, is well preserved; and the southernmost point buoy at the island's southern tip is a highly photographed landmark that marks the distance to Cuba. Every evening, Mallory Square fills with street performers, craft vendors, and crowds who gather to watch the sunset, and the long-running sunset celebration has become an everyday island tradition. If you want to get out on the water, snorkeling and exploring the nearby living coral reefs are activities many visitors specifically plan for.Key West · 425m from downtown

The Hemingway Home and Museum is located onKey Westin Florida, United States. Hemingway lived here for only 10 years, but these 10 years were the peak of his writing career, and many of his important works were written here. The residence still retains the look it had when Hemingway lived there, including books visible everywhere and a living room ready to welcome friends at any time. Stepping into the courtyard, you are surrounded by lush trees and flowers, creating a quiet and serene atmosphere. At the end of the short path, nestled among the tree canopy and floral shadows, stands a 2-story Spanish-style building with lemon-yellow walls, grass-green window frames, and a dark blue roof, evoking a sense of depth and timelessness.Key West · 2.1 km from downtown

基韦斯特岛是美国最南端的一个岛屿,类似于大陆的南极村,风景十分漂亮,震撼。海水湛蓝,海岛秀丽,再加上蓝天白云,真是一幅秀美的水天风光大片。

In Key West, Southern Most Point should be an iconic check-in point. Many people line up to take photos. It is only 90 miles from here to Cuba. The entire island chain is very Central and South American. I miss the sunshine and sea there so much. I don’t know if I can go there again in my lifetime.

This beach was totally worth the sand in the car. Our time here was completely unplanned - we stopped on our way out of town. The kids said it was the best beach on the trip. Very clean, easy parking and perfect photo ops. We found a few cool shells and it wasn't crowded. There were rocks to climb on and the sand was super soft.

The Key West Lighthouse is located in Key West, Miami, opposite the Hemingway House. It is a popular local check-in spot. The lighthouse can be clearly seen from Hemingway's house. When I visited the former residence, it was closed. It is important to manage your time.
