Oceanographic Museum of Monaco

The Oceanographic Museum in Monaco, built in 1910, was built by Prince Albert I, who was extremely enthusiastic about oceanography. It was originally designed as an art and science museum. The museum houses a variety of beautiful and strange fish, as well as various and bizarre marine animals from all continents, as well as some diving equipment and model ships. Marine biologist JCousteau has a research center here. The newly constructed "Shark Reef" is a giant 450-cubic-meter pool with colorful coral reefs and a wide variety of marine life. From the facade to the interior decoration, the architectural style of the entire museum reflects a strong maritime atmosphere. Since its opening on March 29, 1910, this ocean paradise of more than 6,000 square meters has become famous overseas. In this museum, which is only 85 meters above sea level, tourists can enjoy more than 6,000 kinds of marine life. From an aquarium to a collection of natural history exhibits, from a shark pavilion to Turtle Island on a panoramic terrace, the museum offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn how to know, love and protect the ocean. The founder once hoped that the museum would "combine the two major forces of human civilization, art and technology", so the museum also hosts large-scale contemporary art exhibitions, such as Damien Hirst, Huang Yongping, Mark Dion or An exhibition of works by masters such as Marc Quinn.Monaco City · 494m from La Condamine

Monaco Hercules harbouris one of the representative coastal views on the French Riviera, mainly consisting of two parts: Hercules Port and Port de Fontvieille. The main port, Hercules Port, is located in the La Condamine district at the foot of the rock where the Prince's Palace stands. Formed by a natural bay, it is a rare deep-water harbor on the French Riviera. As early as the ancient Greek and Roman periods, this place was a stopover for merchant ships, and its long maritime history adds a rich cultural atmosphere to the port area. The harbor is backed by towering cliffs and protected by breakwaters on the outside. The waters are generally calm, with yachts and boats moored within, creating a rich, layered coastal view. Strolling along the harbor promenade, visitors can enjoy a close-up view of the moored sailboats, yachts, and harbor scenery, and can also look up to see the Prince's Palace, the Cathedral, and the Oceanographic Museum atop the rock. The roads and ramps around the port area are interconnected; by walking up the winding alleys, you can reach the top of the rock and overlook the entire harbor, boats, and the azure sea from above.La Condamine · 66m from downtown

Monaco CircuitIt primarily traverses the two districts of Monte Carlo and La Condamine, linking the yacht harbor, city streets, and coastal view along the way. Unlike purpose-built racetracks, this circuit is composed directly of existing city roads. The layout is compact, and the surrounding buildings, road surfaces, and harbor views create a unique racing environment. The circuit length per lap is approx. 3.3 km, featuring multiple consecutive corners, and the race typically requires completing over 70 laps. Due to the narrow roads and dense corners, the guardrails on both sides of the track are very close to the cars, leaving drivers with very limited space to correct their lines. After cars speed through the tunnel, they immediately enter the Swimming Pool corner complex, navigating the driving line amidst continuous turns and narrow road surfaces, before driving back to the start/finish area near the harbor. The tunnel, corners, guardrails, pit lane, and starting grid together form the infrastructure required for the race.La Condamine · 149m from downtown

The oceanographic museum of Monaco is one of the best places to visit on a rainy day in Monaco. it's very well laid out, signs in English and French, there's a fun aquarium with loads of species of fish, jellyfish, Coral and other marine animals. there's even a turtle. The upstairs is a museum with lots of information about our planet and oceans. highly recommend it, I think the price is fair for the attraction.

One of the four most famous racetracks in the world, it is a street race track. It is the shortest of the F1 race tracks and has the slowest corner and famous tunnel. At the same time, because it is a street race, the team's gas station is also very small and narrow. However, due to the high technical requirements of the track, suspension and tires are very important, and the championship of this race is also the dream of many drivers.

The Monaco Palace is located on a hill near the sea. Standing in the square in front of the palace, you can overlook the Monte Carlo port, the mansions in the Fonville district, the moored private yachts and the Garlic Corner. Inside, you can visit the Royal Apartments, the Napoleon Memorial and the Palace Historical Achievements Collection. The 16th-century Italian-style corridors and murals in the palace are exquisite; the luxurious hall with colorful fine wood inlaid by Louis XV and the 17th-century marble double spiral staircase are all pleasing to the eye. The palace square is surrounded by turrets cast in the Louis XIV period, and you can see the Sainte Marie bell tower built of white rocks, etc. If you are lucky, you can also see the changing of guard ceremony of the palace guards.

Monaco is very close to Nice and can be reached by bus. It is a small city, but it is small and has its essence. Although churches in Europe are similar, this church is still very meaningful. Because this church is where Princess Grace and the Prince got married. It is also where they are buried. The exterior walls of this Byzantine-style building are mainly white, which looks very solemn.

Monaco is a strong team in the French Ligue 1, having won the French Ligue 1 title eight times. It also reached the final of the 2003-2004 Champions League, losing 0-3 to Mourinho's Portuguese team Porto. Strictly speaking, Monaco participates in the French Ligue 1 as a "national team".

You have to climb a big slope to get to the Prince's Palace from the port of Monaco. It's a little tiring, but the scenery along the way is very beautiful, and basically the whole Monaco is in front of you. You can take a bus to Monte Carlo for 1.5 euros.
