Anfield in Liverpool holds no less significance for the Kop (the nickname for Liverpool FC fans) than Old Trafford does for Manchester United supporters. The history of Anfield serving Liverpool FC dates back over 100 years. Built in 1884, it was initially owned by Everton FC. In 1892, the club left due to an inability to pay the high rent, and Liverpool FC was established that May. Since then, Anfield has been their home ground, unchanged. Over its 120-year history, Anfield has witnessed all the glorious moments. This football theatre of dreams has four stands, with the Kop stand being the most important, reserved for loyal Liverpool fans. The stand built to celebrate the club's centenary is now named after legendary figure Kenny Dalglish. The Anfield Road stand is primarily for visiting fans. After two rounds of expansions to the main stand and Anfield Road stand, the stadium now accommodates over 60,000 spectators.Liverpool · 3.2 km from downtown

Albert Dock brings us not only the memories of Liverpool's past as a maritime trading port, but also the incomparable nostalgia and intoxication for the Beatles. The Beatles are a British rock band. They have multi-style innovations in musical techniques, sold hundreds of millions of records worldwide, won 8 Grammy Awards, and were awarded the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 1965. Using "immortal legend" to describe the Beatles is a little pale. Years later, this British rock band has been regarded as a great band in the history of world rock music. Although the death of the band's soul John Lennon made the resurrection of the Beatles a dream that could never be realized, their music still remains Infecting the world, touching people's heartstrings, the enthusiasm of fans has also increased. In the Beatles Memorial, you can see guitars, microphones, iconic glasses and even his manuscripts and autographed photos used by the band's soul frontman John Lennon, and the museum displays songs from The Beatles from the obscure pub Every step of the star journey to the glorious FlowerGeneration period. The classic song "Image" echoed in the pavilion, and I believe that many people could not help but sigh for John Lennon, an unsurpassed genius in the music industry. You can also buy a lot of Beatles souvenirs in the museum, such as badges, commemorative shirts, guitar picks, etc. Visitors can also sign up for the "Legend Tour" and take a sightseeing bus to get a thorough understanding of the places related to the Beatles. everything about them.Liverpool · 1 km from downtown

Albert Dock is an important attraction when you come to Liverpool, and it is a heritage building protected by British law. In 1846, Prince Albert praised the construction of the Dockyard at the inauguration of the Dockyard. This is one of the world's enclosed fire-resistant docks. It was once considered one of the most technologically advanced docks in the world. The port has made a great contribution. Architectural historian Berwick Nukins called Albert Dock a masterpiece of industrial architecture. However, due to the gradual decline of maritime trade, the dock has changed from prosperity to decline since the end of the 19th century, and gradually lost its original function. Due to the protection of the national industrial architectural heritage in the United Kingdom, it has been developed into a complex leisure tourist attraction integrating museums and restaurants. Here, you can go to the Merseyside Maritime Museum to explore Liverpool's maritime trade history, indulge in the artistic atmosphere of the Tate Liverpool, and even here, you and the Beatles will have a classic encounter. Travel back in time to that golden age with a trip to the Beatles Memorial. Or just take a nap on the riverside chair, there is sunshine and seabirds, it is very simple and beautiful.Liverpool · 994m from downtown

Liverpool Cathedral is the largest church in the United Kingdom, also known as the Cathedral of Christ in Liverpool (Catherdral Church of Chris in Liverpool), which is also the fifth largest cathedral in the world. Its architectural style combines traditional Gothic and more modern monument styles. The single-tower design was an innovation at the time, with a tower height of 101 meters and a built-in clock, the third largest in the world. It is worth mentioning that this magnificent and solemn religious building was actually created by a 22-year-old young man. In 1902, Giles Gilbert Scott, who was only 22 years old, was selected in the design competition of Liverpool Cathedral. Although it also caused a lot of controversy, Scott's family background in Gothic style (father and grandfather have designed and built many church) did not let the project run aground. In 1904, King Edward laid the foundation stone and the church began to be built. However, due to the downturn of the national economy and the impact of the World War, in 1978, after a lapse of 76 years, the main part of the church was officially completed, and Queen Elizabeth II participated in the completion. ceremony. It is a pity that Scott passed away in 1960. He did not wait for the day when his works were presented, but Scott not only left this beautiful church, but also the iconic red telephone booth in London. To this day, Liverpool Cathedral is an outstanding example of church architecture in the world. It attracts many tourists every year. The beautiful stained glass in the church depicts stories about the Bible. There are also more species in the world. Large and heavier chime pipe organ with a total of 9765 pipes. When the weather is good, you can climb the clock tower and get a great view of the city.Liverpool · 1.7 km from downtown

Nearly 600,000 tourists visit Liverpool each year because of The Beatles, generating over £20 million in economic benefits and significantly boosting local tourism. The Beatles have become a cultural icon of Liverpool. The bar where they performed during their early days before fame, The Cavern Club, is one of the pilgrimage sites for rock music fans. Here, the four band members passionately performed 292 concerts, pouring their youth into music and writing their life story. What was once a simple, ordinary basement became a world-famous bar thanks to this legendary band. The bar is located on Mathew St. Mathew St is not long, only about 200m, but it is lined with bars of all sizes. Besides The Cavern Club, there are many other pubs that The Beatles members frequented. At 10 Mathew St, walk down 18 steps, and you'll be surrounded by The Beatles' memorabilia. The bar has remained largely unchanged, maintaining a vintage feel, and it preserves many items the band used, such as sheet music and performance photos. Outside the bar on the street, there is a sign that reads "Four lads that shocked the world," which is a bit bittersweet, lamenting that Lennon is gone. We can only remember and look back, but can no longer hear their passionate, authentic legend come to life again.Liverpool · 346m from downtown

This is a pilgrimage, as a Liverpool fan. No matter how this journey is perceived by others, it is a perfect one in my heart. Especially when I passed through the player tunnel and saw the sign of Anfield, my heart was filled with emotion. When I stood on the stadium and closed my eyes, I could imagine the bustling crowds here on match days.

There were many photos I'd never seen before and items actually used by the band members, making it a truly impressive exhibition. You can really get a feel for what it was like back then. It was filled with respect not only for John, Paul, George, and Ringo, but also for former members Stuart and Pete, and for other people from Liverpool who have achieved success in various fields. I hope the museum's exhibits will be preserved for a long time to come and be seen by many people.

This church looks ordinary from the outside, but you will be amazed once you enter. It feels very beautiful as soon as you enter. It is super big inside. It is recommended to come here on Sundays. There will be a choir every Sunday. You can pray with the locals and feel the atmosphere.

Liverpool is world-famous for its music. As the hometown of the Beatles, Liverpool is rated as the "World Capital of Pop Music". The Beatles started their rock career here. The Cavern Bar, as the place where the Beatles first performed on stage, has become a pilgrimage site for rock fans. I felt like I was instantly back in college when I went to the bar to listen to the band's performances.

Spent an afternoon here with my family and loved it. Any aspect of the history of Liverpool you would wish to know about is covered in this huge venue. Well laid out exhibits which work well for kids and adults. The transport and social/health areas were particular highlights for us. Clean, well ventilated and never felt at all crowded so a good pick for an outing in these times of covid.
