The Lao Jun Mountain Golden Summit Taoist Temple Complex is located atop Lao Jun Mountain, built against the mountainside. It mainly includes the Lao Jun Temple, the Morality Mansion, the Five Mothers Golden Hall, the Liangbaotai (Bright Treasure Platform), the Jade Emperor Peak, and the South Heaven Gate, all built in the style of Ming and Qing dynasty imperial palaces, facing south. The three golden roofs—the Golden Hall, the Liangbaotai, and the Jade Emperor Peak—are the highlights of the complex, especially at night when the lights are on, attracting tens of thousands of tourists daily. On the day we visited, there were definitely tens of thousands of tourists; descending the mountain at the same time was a real headache.
