Pawon Temple is a large Hindu temple, only two kilometers away from Borobudur. It is a point not to be missed on the way back to Muntilan or on the way to Yogyakarta. This location is also considered to be a gateway to Borneo in ancient times. The landmark building of the Buddha Temple. The carving of the temple is somewhat similar to the style of Prambanan, a simple small temple. Above the entrance of the temple is a statue of a pot-bellied dwarf who is distributing wealth, indicating that Kuvera, the god of wealth in Buddhism, is enshrined here. The top of merbabu mountain offers views and cold air. Travel time from via cuntel is approximately 6 hours. With challenging terrain and trees around it makes the journey more vibrant

Pawan Temple, Borobudur and another temple (I can't remember the name...) are actually a group of attractions. However, foreign tourists who don't do a travel guide basically don't know the other two temples and only come to Borobudur.
