The Norman Palace is really a bit unremarkable from the outside, and we almost missed it. The most interesting thing here is the Palatine Chapel, which is really a chapel built with gold, with golden mosaics everywhere! This palace incorporates the Byzantine style! It’s a pity that the rooms are not open in winter

The Teatro Massimo is the third largest opera house in Europe after Paris and Vienna. It is also the pinnacle of Palermo's neoclassical architecture. I missed the guided tour in the theater several times I went to Palermo before. This time I went there in advance (you can also contact by email) and booked a guided tour + climbing to the top to see the scenery of Palermo city. Because some people in the group signed up to see the backstage, the tour guide simply let everyone see it together.
The Teatro Massimo was built to celebrate the unification of Italy. It covers an area of 8,000 square meters. There are two huge bronze lions at the door. The two statues above the lions represent the god of drama and the god of opera respectively. There are 1,350 seats inside, and seven layers of surrounding inclined stands, which are in a typical horseshoe style.
There is a limit on the number of people in the summit group, so be sure to book by email in advance

The Fountain of Pretoria is a huge fountain located in Piazza Pretoria in Palermo. It has several layers of pools and the statues of gods inside are also very beautiful. It has now become a famous attraction in the town and attracts many tourists.

Piazza Pretoria, where the Pretoria Fountain is located, was bought by the Sicilian government from Tuscany. The art of the north is more explicit, bold and realistic, but Sicily is still quite conservative.
