Fundidora ParkLocated on the east side of Monterrey, it was formerly the Fundidora steel plant, founded in 1900. After production ceased in the 1980s, the blast furnaces, factory buildings, and large machinery were preserved in large sections. It was later renovated and reopened as a city park, and today it is more like an industrial heritage park where you can walk, run, and cycle. The track that once hosted Grand Prix races has been converted into a fitness trail. Locals are often seen jogging and cycling here in the early morning and evening. The green spaces set against the rust-red steel structures are what set it apart from typical city parks.Monterrey · 2.6 km from downtown

Macroplazais located in the center of Monterrey, Mexico, and is the product of a large-scale urban renewal project in the early 1980s—to create this open space, entire blocks of old houses were demolished, including a well-known old cinema. The visual focal point of the plaza is the approx. 70m tall Commercial Lighthouse (Faro del Comercio). The orange-red tower was designed by architect Luis Barragán. At night, the green laser beam emitted from the top of the tower cuts across the city sky and is considered a symbol of Monterrey's nightscape. Macroplazaalso features several monuments, fountains, and gardens, providing a space for visitors to relax and unwind. It is surrounded by numerous museums and cultural buildings, such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, which displays a rich collection of artworks. In addition, the restaurants and cafes around the plaza offer authentic Mexican cuisine, making it an ideal place for visitors to experience local flavors.Monterrey · 448m from downtown

Ballet, rock concerts, African dance, Argentine tango, etc. In addition, they were trying to set a Guinness World Record for the largest offering altar for the Day of the Dead.
