Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park spans Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces in South Africa, covering nearly 20,000 square kilometers, and is one of South Africa's largest game reserves. This area was first protected in 1898 and later officially established as a national park in 1926. The park is home to nearly 150 mammal species and over 500 bird species, and is famous for the free-roaming Big Five—lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and African buffaloes—with a range of wildlife from large herbivores like elephants and giraffes to carnivores such as leopards and cheetahs. The park's diverse vegetation zones create distinct animal habitats. The north is dominated by mopane shrubveld, where elephant herds often forage; the central savanna gathers large numbers of zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes, which also attracts lion prides; the southern riverine areas have dense vegetation, where birds and leopards are more commonly seen. Visitors can choose to self-drive along the park roads or join a guided sunrise or sunset game drive. Animals are more active in the early morning and evening. During the dry season, vegetation is sparse and water sources are concentrated, making it easier to spot elephants, buffaloes, and even lion prides at close range along the roadside. I have consistently visited the Kruger National Park and have never been disappointed. Every visit has offered different types of sightings. The rest camps are great. Prepare for losing cell phone signal in certain parts of the park which is honestly a blessing in disguise. Always take some snacks and extra water.

From Phalaborwa gate to Letaba gate late arrivals , front desk will never give you proper directions on what is to be happen , you would forfeit all your money and the front desk is just not accommodating
