The beautiful and ancient road of Meiguan is situated at the intersection of Dayu County in Jiangxi Province and Nanxiong City in Guangdong Province. It was constructed around the Qin and Han dynasties. The section that still exists is neatly lined with cobblestone, and the road is surrounded by luxuriant shrubs as well as by cliffs on both sides. In ancient times, the Meiguan Ancient Post Road was the main road of communication between the Central Plains and Lingnan. After Qin Shihuang unified China, he attacked Lingnan in 214 BC and then built the road to Meiguan (known as the "Qin Pass"), opening the way to communication with the north and the south of the Central Plains. In winter, the plum blossoms along the ancient road are especially captivating.Nanxiong · 23.8 km from downtown

Ginkgo Viewing in Shaoguan

Ginkgo Viewing in Shaoguan

3.9
In late autumn, Shaoguan quietly puts on its golden attire, opening a romantic feast woven by ginkgo. As the temperature gradually cools, the originally verdant ginkgo leaves slowly transform under the carving of time. The ginkgo trees are like golden torches lit up, and the leaves shine in the sun. As the breeze blows, thousands of golden leaves sway and fall, covering the ground with a soft velvet carpet. Walking in the ginkgo forest, there is a rustling sound under your feet, and you can see the sunlight penetrating the branches and leaves, casting mottled light and shadows when you look up. The ancient ginkgo, the quaint villages, and the winding paths complement each other, outlining a peaceful and peaceful pastoral painting. Whether you are strolling leisurely, feeling the good years, or walking with relatives and friends, freezing the beautiful moments, you can appreciate the unique poetry and tenderness of autumn in the beautiful ginkgo scenery of Shaoguan.China · Nanxiong

Guangzhou Tower, a landmark of Guangzhou, stands at a towering 600 meters including its antenna, making it one of the most famous towers in China. From its top, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Guangzhou. Its slender and elegant shape has earned it the nickname "Slim Waist." At night, the tower lights up, making it a perfect spot for photography, even if you don't go inside. The tower is divided into five functional zones from A to E. Zone A at the base showcases Guangzhou's history, culture, economy, and tourist attractions, along with providing tourist services. Zone E at the top offers dining, entertainment, and an observation deck. It's recommended to arrive at the tower by 3:30 PM, queue for security and tickets, and reach the top by 4:30-5:00 PM to catch the sunset. This schedule allows you to experience Guangzhou's panorama during the day, at dusk, and at night. In summer, adjust your visit by two hours later due to longer daylight. There aren't many people early in the morning, and it's foggy. It gets busier once the fog clears. It's a great choice for families to visit, relax, or camp. You can drive or take public transport; there are many options. It's a seasonal attraction, so choose your time carefully.

Looking for a less-traveled destination with historical significance and hiking opportunities this weekend? The Meiguan Ancient Road in Dayu, Jiangxi is highly recommended! This ancient post road has been around for a thousand years, and after completing the hike, you can enjoy panoramic views of the county town from the mountaintop.

With relatively low foot traffic, newly built internal alleyways, and significant business loss, the interior environment is quite quiet and refreshing when there are few people; it can be considered a park with a lake. A complete walk around it takes less than an hour.

The natural scenery, ancient ginkgo trees, simple folk customs, the scenic area is relatively scattered, but very natural, without too much human intervention, I still like it, it's a good travel experience, staying in a Leyi Inn on the top of the mountain military camp to watch the sunrise ginkgo super convenient, the environment is good, but it's a pity that the holiday is too short, I can only come again next time! We had a fantastic day at Chimelong Safari Park! The park is beautiful, with amazing scenery and a huge variety of animals. It's enormous, so I strongly recommend arriving early to have enough time to explore everything without rushing. We expected to see more giant pandas, but there were only two, although they were incredibly cute! We also hoped to see red pandas, which were listed as being at the park, but unfortunately, there were none. The animal show was excellent and entertaining, even though it was entirely in Chinese. We also hired a wonderful guide who was friendly, helpful and made a real effort to ensure we enjoyed our visit. We appreciated her efforts so much that we gave her an extra tip, even though she initially refused it.Overall, a great experience and well worth visiting in Guangzhou. Just arrive early and check which animals are available to see before your visit!

We entered from the South Gate. Although there were many people, it wasn't chaotic at all. The signs were very clear, and the staff were very responsible. It was a very enjoyable trip for the kids; Guangzhou is beautiful and delicious. It was our first time seeing a rhinoceros and our first time riding a cable car—a great experience!
