Cable Beach
Cable Beach is located on the west side of Nassau, close to Lynden Pindling International Airport, about a 15-minute drive away. This arc of white sand, known for its fine quartz sand, is a popular beach in the Atlantic Ocean, offering stunning sea views, sparkling waters and postcard-perfect scenery. The nearshore waters are blue-green in gradient, with small waves and shallow water, making them suitable for novice snorkelers. Water activities are concentrated in the eastern pier area, where visitors can enjoy hours of sunbathing or try water activities such as jet skiing, parasailing and banana boats. After sunset, head to a waterfront bar to sample Nassau's local craft beer. The miles of beach are lined with a number of surrounding resorts, restaurants and bars, and are popular with tourists and locals alike. The winery is located in an old manor. You can visit and taste the wine, and of course you can buy a bottle. The price is 1/2 of that in the port market. It is also the filming location of the 2008 "007" movie. It is worth a visit.
