The grandeur of Detian is undeniable, but preparation is key before you set off.
During the high-water season, the scenery is breathtaking, but during the dry season, the water flow becomes much thinner, significantly diminishing the spectacle. A shuttle bus is required to reach the entrance; the entire trail has many steps, so the elderly and children are advised to slow down. Bamboo rafting is the core experience, but it may be temporarily suspended in case of heavy rain.
Recommended Route: Bamboo Rafting → Viewing Boardwalk → Climbing Platform, and finally, a photo at the boundary marker. This route connects Detian and Mingshi Pastoral Area, offering a beautiful blend of mountains and water—this is the most classic journey in southwestern Guangxi.
