Wat Na Phra Meru or Wat Na Phra Meru Ratchikaram Worawihan, opposite the Grand Palace, is the only temple that was not destroyed by the Burmese and is still in good condition. It is assumed that it may have been the location of the Burmese headquarters. The principal Buddha image is Phra Phutthanimit Wichit Marmoli Si Sanphet Borommatrailokanat, which combines the beliefs of the Khmer Devaraja and the Dharma Raja of Ayutthaya. It is cast in a mixture of gold and bronze. In addition, on the side of the chapel, there is a Dvaravati Buddha image approximately 1,500 years old, and there is also a sacred Buddha image that is highly revered by the locals, Luang Pho Khao, a Buddha image covered entirely in silver, over 500 years old.
