There are tombs from the Song Dynasty, archways from the Yuan Dynasty, steles from the Ming Dynasty, tablets from the Qing Dynasty and more than 300 steles representing the high level of contemporary calligraphy art in the Attraction Garden Scenic Area. The whole Attraction faces south and sits in the north. There is a sacred road running through the Attraction. When tourists visit, they can mainly walk along this sacred road. After entering the Attraction, a red stone archway comes into view. The horizontal brow is engraved with four large characters "Qingshan Yuyi". The left and right stone pillars are engraved with the words of Su Shi's "In Prison to Ziyou": "This is a place where the green mountains can bury the bones, and the heavy rain will only make you sad." There are 5 vegetarian rooms on the east side of the stone archway, where celebrities used to eat vegetarian food and bathe when they worshiped the three Su. In the middle is the banquet hall, which was rebuilt in the 47th year of Emperor Kangxi. There are inscriptions from various generations in the hall, and many stone tablets are embedded in the four walls. Lushan Apozhai Scenic Area is located in Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. It is a tourist Attraction that integrates Buddhist meditation, Great Wall nostalgia, beautiful scenery viewing, extreme challenges and other tourist activities. It is mainly composed of the Leiyin Temple and Apozhai Mountain. The thousand-year-old Da Leiyin Temple in the Attraction was first built in the 12th year of Yongping in the Eastern Han Dynasty, which is 69 AD. It is said to have been built by the Indian monks Shemoteng and Zhu Falan. Historical records show that "on the day when the temple was completed and the Buddha's statue was enthroned, strange signs appeared in the sky, with dense purple clouds, loud thunder, and vast Dharma sounds, as if the Buddha appeared in person to preach. When the Emperor Ming heard about this, he named it Da Leiyin Temple." The Great Leiyin Temple is not only the dojo of Tathagata Buddha and the place where Guanyin Bodhisattva practices, but also the prototype of the Great Leiyin Temple in Wu Chengen's Journey to the West. When Wu Chengen was an official in Xinye, he had visited the Great Leiyin Temple many times, so he compared the Great Leiyin Temple to the Nalanda Temple in India in his novel. The Attraction has also built a ten-mile suspended plank road, which is built entirely on the mountainside and surrounds the entire Apozhai Mountain like a golden jade belt. Visitors walking on the plank road can see strange rocks and cliff cypresses upwards, and can experience the excitement of being suspended downwards. The flower sea landscape designed by the Attraction allows visitors to have a 360-degree view.Lushan · 28.8 km from downtown

Shenniu Grand Canyon, located at the northern foot of Yaoshan Mountain, consists of Shenniu Gorge, Tongtian Valley, Juxian Pavilion, Shenniu Peak and other Attraction spots. It is beautiful, secluded, handsome and strange. It has more than 100 scenic spots. The mountains in the Attraction are steep, the stone peaks and stone pillars are grotesque, like people and animals, and lifelike; springs gush all year round, and there are groups of pools and waterfalls, which are like poems and paintings; the mountains and hills are full of ancient trees, lush grass, butterflies and birds flying, which can be called the unique place of Funiu. Shenniu Grand Canyon has a long history and rich cultural accumulation. There are myths of the battle of Funiu, the ruins of the ancient Chu Great Wall, the legend of Wang Mang chasing Liu Xiu, the footprints of the Red Army's Long March, and the figure of Liu Deng's army competing for the Central Plains. There is no artificial carving in the Attraction, which is purely natural. With its rare characteristics of being misty, clean, generous and soft, it accommodates rich colors and hides the rough passion in the tranquility of precipitation. When you are in the Shenniu Grand Canyon and feel the harmony of the mountains, rivers, plants, insects, fish, birds and animals, you will exchange a kind of tranquility, broad-mindedness and patience for a peaceful state of mind, and enter another realm of life without the noise of the city and the shadows of people.Lushan · 58.3 km from downtown

The temple is one of the four famous temples in Henan Province. It was once as famous as Baima Temple, Shaolin Temple and Xiangguo Temple, and is known as the "Four Famous Temples in the Central Plains". The monastery is located at the foot of Shaoshi Mountain, with two mountains crossing a road, verdant trees and gurgling water. After walking 1500 meters north, you can find the monastery, which has the poetic and picturesque meaning of "the ancient temple hidden in the deep mountains" and "the winding path leads to the secluded place". The Buddhist hall in the temple was built in the Jin Dynasty and has a history of more than 800 years. It is a typical Jin Dynasty building. It was built on a 15-meter-high brick platform. In the Jin Dynasty building, the entire Buddhist temple did not use a single nail. The Pilu Hall was built in the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty. There are two large tower forests on the hillside around the temple, including 146 monks' tomb towers and other brick towers and stone towers in Tang, Yuan, Ming, Qing and modern times. There are several pagodas outside the temple, with 115 pagodas preserved in the past, as well as inscriptions of past dynasties and Buddhist statues of Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.Ruzhou · 7.8 km from downtown

The scenery is beautiful and well worth seeing. Although it's not widely known nationwide, it's a very famous tourist destination in Henan. However, some of the steps in the scenic area are damaged and should be repaired promptly.

I brought my 93-year-old husband to Lushan to worship the Central Plains Buddha during the Dragon Boat Festival. Seeing it in person, I realized that photos could never capture its grandeur. The entire Buddha statue is 208 meters tall, standing amidst the mountains. From afar, its golden body shines brightly, backed by rolling green hills, exuding an exceptionally solemn aura. Walking slowly up the Fuhui Avenue, the faint scent of incense along the way calmed my mind. Reaching the worship platform, my neck ached from looking up. The Buddha's gentle, lowered eyes seemed to quietly overlook the beings below, its immense size creating a powerful impact. I climbed the steps, carefully paying my respects at each hall. The Ancient Buddha Spring Temple was serene and ancient, with towering ancient trees in the courtyard, making burning incense and praying a truly peaceful experience. To get close enough to touch the Buddha's feet, you need to take an elevator. Standing beside the Buddha's feet and looking down, the entire valley unfolded before my eyes. The mountain breeze carried the fragrance of grass and trees, and all my restlessness vanished.

Exciting and fun! There are many curves, and we barely stopped in the water. We played for about an hour and a half! The kids loved it! You definitely need to buy one of those continuous water guns—it's the ultimate weapon for water fights!

It's a relatively niche tourist spot, with few visitors, so you can take your time to explore and appreciate it. I saw a short essay by a Su Shi fan at Su Shi's tomb; it was really well-written. I snapped a picture and uploaded it for comments, hoping more Su Shi fans will see it. I hope "Yunxi" won't mind?

Lushan Apozhai Scenic Area is like a bright pearl hidden in the world, exuding a mysterious and charming charm. This is the place where Guanyin Bodhisattva once practiced. As soon as you step into the scenic area, you can feel the sacred and solemn atmosphere. The mountains are undulating and the green shadows are swaying, as if they are the image of the Bodhisattva's blessing. The natural scenery in the scenic area is beautiful. There are strange peaks and rocks, some of which are like immortals pointing the way, and some are like heavenly dogs looking at the moon, which makes people sigh at the uncanny work of nature. The forest is lush and the air is fresh and pleasant. Every breath seems to be an intimate dialogue with nature. And the ancient temple buildings are solemn and solemn, with incense curling, which makes people feel peaceful and comforted. Standing in the temple, it seems that you can hear the compassionate teachings of Guanyin Bodhisattva and feel the boundless compassion and wisdom. Walking along the mountain trails, the streams are gurgling, and the birds are chirping, as if you are in a fairyland. The waterfall is like the Milky Way falling from the sky, with splashing water, like a dream. The service in the scenic area is also very considerate and thoughtful. The staff is warm and friendly, providing tourists with patient guidance and help, making the whole play process smoother and more enjoyable. In the Lushan Apozhai Scenic Area, you can appreciate the majestic beauty of nature and feel the profound heritage of religious culture. It is really an unforgettable spiritual journey. Highly recommended to everyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle and seek inner peace!

It's a good place to bring kids, mainly to see waterfalls and mountain springs, where they can play in the water. Also, the scenic area has some fairytale-style buildings that make for great photos. However, the service facilities are very inadequate, lacking essential signage.

This is a remarkably well-preserved Ming Dynasty county government office, and a fifth-rank one at that—a rare find. Stepping through the gate, I happened upon a live performance of a "court hearing" taking place in the main hall. On the blue brick floor, the magistrate, dressed in black, sat behind his desk. With a slam of the gavel, the bailiffs struck their sticks, their shouts echoing in unison. A woman in red knelt, pleading her grievances, while an elderly man bowed his head and delivered his testimony. Among the onlookers, some held up their phones, and children stood on tiptoe, peering in. The ancient and the modern coexisted in the same hall, yet no one felt a sense of incongruity.

A must-see attraction in Ruzhou. It is best to take an electric car up there, otherwise it is a bit difficult to go uphill. The temple is very old, and the Buddhist chants are still lingering, and the believers pray devoutly. There is a spring at the end of the temple, and Shaolin Temple was filmed here!

It's ok, more fun than those small attractions in Lushan. You don't have to play on the glass plank road, it's not worth it, it takes 30 minutes to walk there. Focus on experiencing the water projects, which are very exciting. There are places to check in and you can take good photos.

The scenery is very nice. A natural oxygen bar! Shaded by green trees. The scenic area is well equipped. There are elevators, slides, and glass plank roads. It's quite good. The cost-effectiveness of holiday travel is really good. A summer resort with waterfalls and streams.
