Things to do in Portofino

Portofino is beautiful, calm and addictive. Be aware that there are only 2 parking lots that get full very quickly 8€/hour. Park in Santa Margherita Ligure 2.5€/hour and take ferry to Portofino 16€ return.

2019.08.29 Brasov - Bran Castle: This is the lair of the vampire Dracula. The Irish writer created the fictional vampire kingdom Castlevania based on this castle. Unfortunately, when I went there, the vampires were off work and no one was selling tickets. I could only quietly enjoy the bloody sunset beside the empty field...

Cinque Terre, located on the Italian coast in the province of La Spezia, Liguria, is a collective name for five cliffside villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. In 1997, Cinque Terre, along with Portovenere, the Palmaria Islands, Tino, and Tinetto, were nominated for UNESCO World Heritage status, and in 1999, they were designated a national park. Many tourists choose to hike among these five villages to experience the beauty of the Italian countryside. For those who prefer a less strenuous experience, shorter hiking trails or train journeys are available. Alternatively, one can stay in a guesthouse for a while, focusing solely on the charm of the fishing villages.

The Genoa Aquarium is a very unique area. There are many aquatic creatures here. You can see a large number of rich and colorful tropical fish here. The aquarium is also a favorite area for children. It is great to visit here.

The Old Port is a lively port on the Ligurian Sea coast, with attractions such as an outdoor live music venue, a film museum and a covered seasonal ice-skating rink. The area around the port is full of waterfront shops, casual bars and restaurants, and is also home to Genoa's large aquarium and the domed floating Biosfera Zoo. There is also a marina, ferry terminal and a replica of a 17th-century Spanish galleon.

The seawater here is clear, the sand is fine, and at low tide you can see the soft lines of the beach extending outwards, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll and careful observation. Sitting on the shore and listening to the sound of the sea gives you a feeling of "finally relaxing."
