Estación de Esquí y Montaña Alto Campoo is like a winter paradise guarded by pine forests and granite. There is no Alpine bustle here, but it has more rustic wildness of northern Iberia. The snow trails are spread along the Brañavieja peak. Most of the intermediate trails are designed so that families and advanced skiers can find their rhythm. Beginners can easily get started in the Magic Forest Theme Children's Area and the Pine Elf Sculpture Group. Take the cable car to the observation deck above 2,000 meters, and occasionally see the long ridgeline of the brown bear reserve among the rolling clouds. The cable car is the undulating punctuation, and the arc drawn by the skis becomes a leaping poem. Non-skiers can try snowshoeing to visit the frozen waterfalls, or driving a snowmobile through the century-old beech forest. During the self-driving tour in northern Spain, one of the stops was the Monastery of Santo Toribio in Cantabria. This place is very sacred to Catholics because it houses the world's largest preserved cross of Jesus. The cross is made of wood and placed in the church. Visitors can line up to enter the church one by one for pilgrimage🙏
The monastery is designed with Roman architecture and there is a beautiful garden behind it. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
