Volcan Osorno Centro de Ski y Montana
Volcan Osorno Centro de Ski y Montana is built on Osorno in the Los Lagos region of southern Chile. The ski center spreads up the conical slopes, with ski runs graded by difficulty, featuring both gentle slopes for beginners and advanced runs. The sightseeing chairlift operates in two stages with a vertical drop of over 500 m, with the upper stage reaching the edge of the glacier. The ski school and equipment rental are open during the ski season, so you can visit empty-handed and rent skis, ski boots, and helmets. Outside of the ski season, this place transforms into an alpine observation deck. When the weather is clear, the chairlift takes visitors to the edge of the glacier at approx. 1,700+ m, where Lake Llanquihue, Calbuco, and Puntiagudo Volcano spread out below.
