Located in the old town of Pune, ShaniwarWada was built in 1732 as a royal residence. The entire building is a wooden structure with beautiful carvings and paintings. ShaniwarWada was the base of the center of political power in the old days. It is a pity that all the buildings here were burnt down in 1828, and now only the city wall has survived. There are hundreds of sharp iron nails up to half a meter long on the city gate, which can be climbed to the city wall to see the whole picture.Pune · 168m from downtown

One of the most famous temple in Pune. It has its own history. We went on a new year day to start an year with Ganesha"s blessings . It was super crowded and to take tat kal tickets also , there was que. After taking the ticket, once we get inside the line It will just take 5 mins to take darshan. You will get that divine feeling and vibration when you go and stand infont of the Idol. That experience is enough that then understood why this temple was that much famous.

The Indian government's courtesy to foreigners is a shocking education as can be seen from the huge difference in ticket prices! This palace is a great blessing for the stay-at-home geeks. Gandhi was very lucky to be able to live in this palace during the Second World War when Britain was busy with World War II. Was Gandhi placed under house arrest when he was invited to live in this palace? It is better to say that he took good care of his wife. Although his wife died here, she was protected in a very comfortable environment! How about thinking in reverse? It is also positive energy.
