Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park is located about 120 kilometers southwest of Kathmandu, with forests, swamps, and grasslands all over it. It is one of the best national parks in Asia for viewing wild animals, and has been listed as a world natural heritage. There are mammals such as one-horned rhinos, reindeer, ganges macaques, birds such as kingfishers, egrets, hornbills, and rare animals such as cheetahs, wild elephants, sloth bears and even Bengal tigers.
