Heritage Site Bestowed by Thai King, with the opening ceremony attended by Thailand's King Rama IX and Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. A cultural treasure carved over half a century with billions in investment, Thailand's never-ending wonder You'll encounter magnificent palaces and stunning temples, just as you'd expect to see in Thailand. △The Great Fish God, surrounded by fish deities, features the palace of Lord Indra at its center. The palace's interior walls are adorned with exquisite peacock sculptures and hand-painted murals, creating an immersive experience. △Luohan Hall, the water temple, ingeniously blends Thai, Burmese, and Chinese architectural styles, enshrining numerous arhat statues and Maitreya Buddha, offering a unique visual experience. △The Grand Palace of Ayutthaya, a 1:1 replica of the main palace from the Ayutthaya Kingdom, took 10 years to complete. The Erawan Museum weighs 250 tons and is about 16 stories high. It is carved from pure copper. Through the elevator in the elephant's legs, you can lead to the museum in the belly of the elephant to explore the mysteries of Thailand's elephant god culture. Feel the charm of architectural culture and religious art. △ Amazing culture and art in the museum The three-headed elephant is the Erawan Elephant god in Thai folk tales. It is the mount of Indra, a god in Brahmanism. Indra is known to be the guardian of the heaven, Indra's name has the meaning of 'leader of the gods', while Erawan's name means rain, raincloud, rainbow. This is reflected in the myth that Indra would ride the Erawan Elephant and bestow rain upon the earth. The construction of this three-headed elephant god began in 1994 and was slowly restored by hiring local handicraft artists. During the construction period, many miracles happened, so even now, countless people still go to worship it every day. It can be regarded as the elephant god who responds to all requests.Samut Prakan · 4.2 km from downtown

Welcome to Asiatique's SkyFlyer. The sky flyer is a giant high-altitude swing at Asiatique, the riverside night market along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Its tower stands approx. 135 m tall, equivalent to over thirty stories, and is easily recognizable from the riverside area. Its official name, "Wings of Garudapterus," is inspired by pterosaur fossils discovered by Thai paleontologists. The mechanical arms take design cues from pterosaur wings, belonging to the same series as the Jurassic-themed experience zone in the night market, allowing riders to glide over the river like a pterosaur. The experience begins when you take your seat: over twenty open-air seats rise, rotate, and swing with mechanical arms, with height and swing speed increasing simultaneously. Cool breezes brush past as you look down at the cruise, docks, and skyline along the Chao Phraya River, offering a 360-degree view of Bangkok. The daytime provides clear vistas, while after sunset, the city lights unfold. The tower's LED lights change colors with the music, creating a striking sight from the river. The facility offers different speed settings, including gentler modes, allowing even less adventurous travelers to give it a try. A few details worth knowing in advance: Board around sunset to enjoy daytime views, dusk, and the first lights of the evening in one ride; evenings and weekends tend to be busier, so allow extra time for queues; phones are not allowed during the ride, but you can rent action cameras on-site to capture aerial footage, and lockers are available for personal items; high-altitude winds are strong, so travel light and avoid loose accessories; height requirements apply for children, with some height ranges requiring adult supervision, while those with acrophobia or motion sensitivity should assess their comfort level. After the ride, explore the shops, restaurants, and dinosaur-themed installations at the night market to pack your evening with activities.Bangkok · 16.6 km from Samut Prakan

Jurassic World: The Experience

Jurassic World: The Experience is an immersive venue themed around the Jurassic World film series, located within the Asiatique riverside night market complex along the Chao Phraya River. Based on the cinematic universe created by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, travelers are guided to "board" Isla Nublar, traversing through a venue spanning thousands of square meters that recreates jungle and research station scenes from the films. Along the way, they are surrounded by life-size animatronic dinosaurs, with the low growls of a massive T. rex and the towering silhouette of a Brachiosaurus creating an up-close, on-site spectacle. The trip unfolds layer by layer with the storyline—at the field research station, travelers must mimic calls to help locate the lost stegosaurus; when the T. rex's roar suddenly echoes, everyone follows the group in a jog to take shelter in the lab, blending thrills with fun. The entire experience takes place indoors, lasting about one hour, with on-site guides primarily in English and Thai, ensuring both family-friendly enjoyment and delight for dinosaur enthusiasts. A souvenir shop is set up at the exit, and the park also features a "Fossils & Flames" themed restaurant inspired by the film, extending the prehistoric adventure to the dining table—perfect for pairing with a riverside night market trip on the same day.Bangkok · 16.5 km from Samut Prakan

SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World

SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World brings a large aquarium into the two basement floors of Siam Paragon mall in downtown Bangkok, making it a highly popular family-friendly indoor attraction. Over a dozen themed exhibition areas guide visitors from tropical rainforests to the deep sea, with hundreds of marine species inhabiting the space, including large sharks measuring nearly 4 m in length. The underwater tunnel is the highlight of the aquarium, offering a 270-degree curved view where sharks, rays and schools of fish glide slowly overhead and alongside visitors. The shark walkway is a glass floor suspended above the shark tank, allowing guests to look down and see sharks swimming beneath their feet. The penguin snow park is home to a group of gentoo penguins, and through the underwater viewing window, visitors can watch them "fly" through the water, while African penguins can also be spotted in another rocky coastal area. The Asian small-clawed otters in the tropical rainforest zone are lively and playful, often drawing crowds. The jellyfish exhibit becomes particularly dreamy under changing lights, while the seahorse kingdom and green sea turtle zone invite a slower pace for closer observation. The coral reef area features schools of clownfish darting about, and the rock pool, where visitors can touch intertidal creatures like starfish, is especially popular with children. The aquarium offers scheduled feeding guides for penguins, otters, sharks and rays daily. We recommend checking the day's time slots upon arrival to plan your visit accordingly. The coral reef zone offers an optional glass-bottom boat experience - watch keepers hand-feed fish and sharks glide beneath the boat for a unique perspective. Fully air-conditioned indoors, it's ideal in any weather. A two-hour visit allows comfortable exploration, though families with children may want to allocate more time. △ Here you can observe tropical rainforest creatures such as Asian small-clawed otters, hook ants, and green crested lizards. △ Come and see our adorable Papuan penguinsBangkok · 18.5 km from Samut Prakan

A cool place to visit if you're looking to get a taste of Thai culture. It is built like a theme park where you can go around to look at the major cultural sites of Thailand. Would highly recommend renting a golf cart as it is hot and would be challenging to explore on foot.

Bangkok Skyflyers at Asiatique is a fun attraction for anyone who wants to see Bangkok from above without taking a traditional observation deck. The ride offers beautiful panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River, the city skyline, and Asiatique, especially around sunset and after dark when everything is illuminated. The nearby Better World Better Future 4D Immersive Exhibition adds an interactive experience with impressive visual effects, making it a great place for families, couples, and photographers. I recommend arriving before sunset so you can enjoy both daylight and the city's night lights in one visit.

The view is extraordinary. Seeing Bangkok from that height is sublime. However, the food and drinks have a massive markup. 240 Baht for a can Chang beer? Kind of a ripoff if you ask me. Nevertheless, good experience, but this is something only worth doing once off.
