The Cai E Mansion is located at the corner of Huilong Street in Shanmen Town, Dongkou County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, at the foot of the western side of Xiuyun Mountain, and on the north bank of the Huangni River. Xuefeng Mountain
Xuefeng Mountain in Dongkou County belongs to the southwestern section of the Primitive Jiangnan Ancient Land and features an arc-shaped structure that protrudes to the northwest. It is characterized by the widespread distribution of the Pre-Sinian Lengjiaxi Group and Banxi Group, a set of strata composed of low-grade metamorphic slate, metamorphic sandstone, and phyllite. Sinian metamorphic clastic rocks are also well-developed, with exposures of strata composed of Early Paleozoic Cambrian to Silurian slate, limestone, and fine sandstone in between. Due to the uplift caused by the Caledonian movement, a series of NNE–NE trending uplifts and depressions were formed. Cai E's Hometown Cultural Expo Park is located in Cai E Village, Cai E Township, Daxiang District, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province. The Expo Park is built according to the overall framework of "one center, one belt, three functional areas, and multiple landscape nodes", integrating the memorial exhibition area, the mountain forest landscape area, and the elegant service area. Cai E's former residence in Cai E's Hometown Cultural Expo Park is the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. It was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. It is an ordinary farmhouse with adobe hanging on the top of the mountain and covered with small green tiles. When it was first built, it was a main house with five rooms and a side house with three rooms. The plane formed an "L"-shaped layout, and it still retains the architectural features of the Tongzhi-Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. There is a small flat area of more than 200 square meters in front of the house. There is a farmland outside the small flat area, a pond in front of the left side, Zaozi Mountain in the south, and Zhentou Mountain in the north. The Cai E Memorial Hall in the park covers an area of 2,200 square meters, with a construction area of 3,740 square meters and an exhibition area of 1,900 square meters. Fuyi River Drifting
The Fuyi River is the mother river of Xinning, and it is a sister river to the Li River in Guangxi. It originates from the Maoer Mountain of resources and is the upper reaches of the four major river systems in our province, namely Xiang, Zi, Yuan and Lizhong Zijiang. Cai E, formerly known as Cai Genyin, was born in 1882 in a small vendor's home in Shaoyang, Hunan. In the "Cai E Mansion" in his hometown, there is a detailed introduction to his life experience. The old county town of Suining, Shaoyang, the ancient town of Zhaishi, is a living thousand-year-old village. There are not many tourists and not much commercial atmosphere. It feels good to walk around in peace. I recommend everyone to come here when you have time.

This place is alright, but it's too far, deep in the mountains, quite a winding route. The waterfall is definitely worth seeing, though the price is a bit high; it would be better if it were lowered.
