Dubai Frame

473 reviews
The "Dubai Frame" was built in 2013, with a height of about 150 meters and a width of 93 meters. What is amazing is that its appearance will be fully gilded, and the total cost is as high as 160 million dirhams (about 300 million yuan). The 150-meter-tall gilded frame stands high above Zabeel Park, with a 93-meter sky bridge at the top, which provides a 360-degree panoramic view, presenting the city's historical landscape and modern architecture. Overlooking the city from the sky bridge, you can see the old city of Deraa to the north and the skyscrapers of Sheikh Zayed Avenue to the south. Take a panoramic glass elevator down into the museum, where visitors can experience Dubai's journey from a small fishing village to a metropolis through interaction and augmented reality.Dubai · 17.3 km from Sharjah

Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization is located on the Majarrah Waterfront in the historic district of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The building was formerly a traditional indoor souq, and its golden dome is a striking landmark. The museum houses over 5,000 artifacts from various regions, dating from the 7th to the 20th century. The exhibition halls are spread across two floors and are arranged by theme and era: the Faith Gallery features a model of the Kaaba and an actual Kiswah (covering of the Kaaba); the Science Gallery showcases instruments such as astrolabes and elephant clocks, highlighting the achievements of scholars in astronomy, mathematics, geography, and navigation; the Art Gallery displays ceramics, metalwork, wood carvings, textiles, and manuscripts chronologically, tracing craftsmanship from early Arab styles through the Ottoman, Safavid, and Mughal periods; the atrium also displays collections of early Islamic coins.Sharjah · 3.8 km from downtown

Dubai Gold Souk is located in the Deira area of Old Dubai, adjacent to the Spice Souk, and faces the Old Souk and the Dubai Museum area across Dubai Creek. As early as the early 20th century, merchants gathered to trade along the banks of Dubai Creek. Today, hundreds of gold jewelry shops are densely packed along the narrow alleys. The storefronts are small, but the display windows are lined up one after another, shimmering with a golden glow under the lights. Strolling through, you will see chunky gold bracelets, layered gold necklaces, and earrings and rings inlaid with colorful gemstones filling the display windows. Traditional Arabic styles, Indian styles, and modern European designs coexist, making you feel as if you have walked into an open-air gold museum.Dubai · 15 km from Sharjah

Zabeel Park is located in the heart of Dubai and is a modern urban oasis that blends technology, ecology, and leisure. Designed with the "smart city" concept in mind, the 47.6-hectare park has become a must-visit destination for families and tech enthusiasts, thanks to its futuristic facilities and diverse cultural experiences. The most dazzling jewel within the park is the Dubai Frame that stands within it. This 150m-high golden giant frame connects history and the future with a surreal presence. Ascending to the glass observation gallery, you can look north to the bustling atmosphere of the traditional old town of Deira, and look south to overlook the forest of skyscrapers on Sheikh Zayed Road, where time and space form a stunning dialogue. The park also houses the "Star Gate" pavilion, which tells the story of the United Arab Emirates' space dreams through holographic projections and interactive installations. From the vertical gardens in the domed greenhouse to the palm-shaded greenery supported by water-saving irrigation systems, Zabeel Park exemplifies the more sustainable development ambitions of a desert city. Whether it's the open-air cinema under the stars or the sight of morning joggers passing by the traditional Arabic wind tower sculptures, the park always beats with the pulse of Dubai's inclusivity and innovation.Dubai · 17.5 km from Sharjah

Modern Dubai was formed in the early 20th century, when the ruling family established its dominance in this charismatic and historic community. Located on the shores of Dubai Creek, Ashdaga is now popular with tourists for attractions such as coral stone buildings with traditional wind towers, Dubai Folk Culture Village and Sheikh Saeedal Maktoum's former residence. The Al Shindagha Museum is known as a "must visit for anyone interested in Emirati culture and those who want to know more about Emirati culture" and there are many exhibitions here. The museum is divided into three pavilions: GovernanceandSociety, CreativityandWell-Being, LivingofftheLandandSea. There is also a children's pavilion, an educational and public exhibition hall where events will be held regularly, a cultural heritage centre, a performance centre and temporary pavilions. In the GovernanceandSociety pavilion, visitors will be mainly guided to learn about the Al Maktoum family in Dubai, as well as the traditional architecture and modern towers of the Dubai cityscape, and to explore the city's central birthplace - Dubai Creek. In the Creativity and Well-Being pavilion, there are traditional Dubai crafts, jewelry, fragrances, and an in-depth understanding of the world of traditional Emirati culture and what they mean today. The third exhibition area, LivingofftheLandandSea, will introduce the culture of the sea, the culture of the land, and how the Emiratis live in these two regions. The Children's Pavilion will introduce children to history in a simple, safe and child-friendly way. Inside, there are interactive exhibits and traditional Emirati games.Dubai · 15.9 km from Sharjah

Despite the rise of high-rise buildings, the ancient city of Dubai has been preserved as a unique landscape. Dubai Creek divides Dubai into two parts: Deira Dubai and BurDubai. At night, when the lights are on, as Dubai's wooden masts slowly move forward, the beautiful picture of ancient and modern harmoniously intertwined will slowly unfold before your eyes. On one side is the young BurDubai, which is booming; on the other side is the old Deira, which symbolizes the history of Dubai, and the minarets of countless mosques seem to pierce the sky. The water of the bay reflects the dazzling lights on both sides of the strait, accompanied by the beautiful music on the boat, taking you through the history and modernity, and feeling the drunken night of Dubai. After a while, the boat was filled with all kinds of Arabic dishes. The most popular is the Arabian flatbread, which is said to be baked on a special stove, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, delicious and delicious. You can taste authentic Arabic cuisine here.Dubai · 14.4 km from Sharjah

Dubai Creek is the river that gave birth to Dubai. Taking a trip on the river in an old wooden boat during the day, you can appreciate Dubai's many tall buildings and domed mosques, while after dark you can enjoy the colorful lights of nighttime Dubai. The river divides the city in two: to the west lies the up-and-coming Bur Dubai district, with its modern skyscrapers lining the riverbank; to the east lies the Deira district of old Dubai, symbolizing the city's historic roots. Here you can feast your eyes on the area's traditional wind towers, mosques and markets.Dubai · 15.2 km from Sharjah

The dhow cruise in Dubai was a really wonderful experience. The whole evening had such a great vibe from start to finish. There were entertaining dance performances and lively music that kept things fun and engaging throughout. The food was also very good, with a nice variety and great taste. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even more comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming as well. Overall, the atmosphere was amazing and it turned out to be a very, very memorable experience that I would definitely recommend.

Place name: Dubai Creek Harbour Navigation Marina Parking, when you are almost there, there will be a traffic light ∞ intersection, directly opposite Marina Parking, go directly down the parking lot after the traffic light to B2, free parking, then find the nearby elevator and go directly to the first floor, turn left to see the skyline of P1-P6, turn right to see the last view! There are many coffee shops and restaurants along the way, order a cup of coffee and sit there to slowly wait for the sunset, or wait for the night to fall to see the night view
