Nyatapola Temple, located in Bhaktapur Durbar Square, is the tallest Hindu temple in Nepal. Built in 1702, it is dedicated to the goddess Siddhi Lakshmi. The temple's steps are flanked by statues of the goddess, an eagle, an elephant, a lion, and a mighty warrior; the lower the statue, the greater the power it represents. It has 108 wooden pillars, each carved with various incarnations of Siddhi Lakshmi.
