The museum preserves wooden churches from the 16th to 19th centuries, rows of wooden houses and farmhouses, most of which have unique wooden attics on their roofs, forming a semi-circular radial urban area. The guardrails, thresholds and window frames of these wooden buildings are all decorated with exquisite wood carvings.
