Timgad
Timgard is located in Batna, Algeria. It was built in the 1st century AD and is a very famous ancient city site. Timgard used to be an outpost of the Third Legion of Augustus in ancient Rome, and the later Roman Emperor Trajan established the city of Tamgard here. The 6th century Berber uprising drove out the Romans and renamed it Timgard. In 1880, Algeria unearthed the face of the ancient city ruins, and UNESCO listed this ancient city as a world cultural heritage. Timgard is an ancient Roman ruin belonging to Algeria, and it is the well-preserved Roman fort city ruins in North Africa. Tikjda
Tikjda is located in the northern Bouira Province of Algeria, in the Djurjura Mountains of the Tell Atlas Mountains. It is about 150 kilometers from the capital Algiers and a 2.5-hour drive. It is a rare four-season outdoor resort in North Africa. Tikjda is marked by the peak of the Djurjura Mountains, Lal Khadiji Peak.
