Ortahisar Castle
Ortahiza Castle is a more prominent geographical indication of Ortahiza. Its 18-meter-high stone wall was used to defend against invasion in the Byzantine period. Its majestic shape is even more peculiar than Uchisar Fortress. The viewing platform at the top of the castle can overlook the beautiful panorama of the town, and the reality show "Sister Over Flowers" has also been here. At the end of the main road from the town of Ortahisar is the castle. To reach this tall castle requires a steep climb. I made a lovely, charming vase during this pottery experience. Since it's only dried, I can't put fresh flowers in it, but I can display dried flowers. I actually wanted to make a wine vase, but that would have been impossible.
Before the experience, they gave a lecture about the history of the place and pottery. We were also served chai and wine. Drinking wine from this pottery makes it taste even better!

Cappadocia not only has beautiful hot air balloons, but also has many unique geographical features that form stones of various shapes. Ortassa Castle is also a very special place with many cave hotels.
