Toompea is the highest point in the Old Town of Tallinn. There is a town hall and a church on the top of the mountain. It is also the most famous viewing point, with the old town at the foot of the mountain as the background.

Located at the intersection of Pikk Street and Oleviste Street on the north side of the Old Town, it is the tallest building in Tallinn's Old Town. The tower is 123 meters high. According to records, the 13th-century Gothic church was originally 159 meters high, which is taller than what we see now. It was once the tallest building in the world (1549-1625), but was later destroyed by fire. St. Olaf's Church was founded in the 12th century. Before Denmark conquered Tallinn in 1219, it was the center of the Scandinavian community in Old Tallinn. Its patron saint was Olaf II, so the name Olaf's Church was later used. Now it is an active Baptist church. There is a platform 60 meters above the tower, which is a standard feature of old churches in the Old Town. You know, you can overlook the entire Old Town. It costs 2 euros to climb the tower. It takes a few minutes to walk 258 steps, and then it's wow~ 

【Scenery】Kiek in de Kok and Bastion Passages Museum Fantastic castle, visited this castle in January 2017. It was very windy there so we decided to continue the castle tour. The family ticket cost 12 euros. We enjoyed the organ music and immersed in the ancient atmosphere. Climbing up the bell tower, the view is beautiful. We will definitely come back in the warmer season and visit again.
