It was so much fun! There were so many animals, especially the kiwi, New Zealand's national bird, which is as rare as the giant panda. I got a really clear picture of it, and I was so happy!
Actually, this zoo is one of the most interesting and beautiful zoos I've ever been to. The animals were incredibly energetic and visibly healthy. The park is huge and all green, and there are many entertaining shows.

It's super exciting and highly recommended. Remember to wear a hat. It's very windy, but you will get wet. It's best to wear a hooded windbreaker to block the wind and water. You have to book in advance, otherwise it's easy to get no seats. There are only 17 seats on a boat.

Is wonderful to know more about Maori’s cultural, all staff are friendly and lovely greeting to us upon arrival until the end. There is one meal include, have a chance to enjoy maori’s cook chicken, lamp and potato. Food provide are a lot of choice, from chicken/lamp to seafood, I am enjoy so much with dessert they provide🤤🤤 especially hoki pockey ice cream, it was marvelous. Ticket include transportation from our hotel, return trip. Just a little disappointed that we unable to walk into Maori’s villages for deep visit due to sky was dark and not allowed flash using in village.

Compared to Weta Workshop in Wellington, it doesn't have as many Lord of the Rings elements, but it's perfect for learning about the behind-the-scenes story of its creation. You can touch and experience various props and materials, and the shop is very comprehensive.
