Things to do in Xisha Islands

Wuzhizhou Island is a must-visit island in Sanya. Its seawater quality is among the best in China, with stunning blue-green hues. The beaches are clean and soft, the vegetation is lush, and there are plenty of photo opportunities. Lover's Bridge and Sunrise Rock offer excellent views and are perfect for taking pictures.

There aren't many queues. There are rides (Rust Mountain Rafting, South China Sea Train, roller coasters, etc.), animal feeding (tortoises, seals, manatees, rays, penguins, etc., 588 RMB/2 people), and shows (mermaid show, whale show). There are fireworks at 8:30 PM and iron flower displays at 7:30 PM. It's quite expensive, but car rental is convenient (400 RMB/day).

Taking the elderly to visit Orchid Valley was a great experience. The valley boasts only a handful of orchids, and the cable car bridge and glass walkway require separate payment and are not accessible to those over 70. The park staff were plentiful and patiently explained the routes, which was excellent. The scenery is beautiful, especially the view from the mountaintop. Buying the sightseeing bus ticket is definitely worthwhile. We entered the park around 9:00 AM and left around 3:30 PM, a leisurely and comfortable pace.

I absolutely love Fenjiezhou Island. I've been here multiple times over the past two years. You could easily spend an entire day here just relaxing. Every time I go to Sanya, I spend at least two days here. The further in you go, the better the environment becomes, and the fewer people there are. You can really feel the atmosphere of the Yellow Sea. The seawater here is an exceptionally beautiful color. It's like watching a blockbuster movie without leaving the country. The restrooms are also very well-equipped, and there's even running water for rinsing your feet. I absolutely love this place.

Thrilling attractions: The Thrill Ride, Leap of Faith, Angry Sea Roller Coaster, and Whirlwind Horn offer a strong sense of weightlessness, perfect for water enthusiasts; the Shark Slide through the transparent shark tank is great for taking photos. Family-friendly attractions: Water play areas, Ocean Empire children's water park, Rapid River Lazy River, and wave pool offer fun for children and adults alike, making it a great place for the whole family to spend a whole day.

Overall, it's a pretty good place. Even in the off-season, it wasn't too crowded. The performances were great, and it was a very enjoyable experience overall. I personally really liked it. Some of the attractions there are quite good and definitely worth trying. I highly recommend it.

The Atlantis Aquarium in Sanya is absolutely stunning! The enormous Lost Chambers aquarium makes you feel like you're in an underwater world, with over 86,000 marine creatures swimming in 13,500 tons of natural seawater. The beluga whale interaction is incredibly therapeutic, the jellyfish area is dreamy and beautiful, and every shot in the underwater tunnel is a masterpiece. It's definitely worth the ticket price for a family trip; you can learn something new and experience the wonders of the ocean. Highly recommended!

The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis Sanya was a fantastic experience! The theme of a lost underwater city created a truly immersive atmosphere. The Ambassador Lagoon's giant screen was breathtaking, with sharks, manta rays, and schools of fish swimming right before your eyes. The mermaid show and feeding show were excellent, especially for the kids. The venue was clean, the indoor area was sun-protected, and there was even a touch pool where you could get up close to starfish. It's perfect for families, and the photos turn out beautifully. I highly recommend checking show times in advance before you go!

A day trip to Monkey Island and Dodo Island. The cable car experience at Monkey Island is excellent, offering panoramic views of the fish farms and lively, entertaining monkeys. Dodo Island boasts stunning beach scenery, is less crowded, and has numerous Instagram-worthy spots, making it perfect for taking photos and relaxing. Remember to wear sunscreen and keep an eye on the shuttle bus return time; definitely worth a visit.

The diving experience was surprisingly good. The instructors were reliable and beginner-friendly. Watching the fish underwater was thrilling, and there were no hidden costs. Students should remember to bring their student IDs for summer discounts. I brought my child, who can't swim at all, and I was worried he'd be scared and wouldn't go in the water. The instructors were incredibly patient, repeatedly explaining the techniques to my child on shore and calming him down. They stayed close to him and protected him throughout the dive. My child was a little nervous at first, but gradually relaxed. He was especially excited to see the fish swim past. Overall, it was a very safe and enjoyable experience.
