I visited with excitement to see the Yeosu Expo Big-O Show. The Big-O Show at the 2012 Yeosu World Expo was the most popular performance, combining the 47m-tall giant circular sculpture 'The-O' with a splendid sea fountain, beam projector, and laser.
In particular, the sight of water as a screen and projecting images was truly amazing and innovative. The sight of water, fire, light, laser, images, and music unfolding in 3D was like a dream.
Recently, I heard that the Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority was opening the Big-O Show for free to revitalize the Expo site, so I visited with great expectations. However, when I actually went, it was a little disappointing that it had changed from the splendid Big-O Show of the past to the 'Big-O Sea Fountain Show'. The performance combining music, lighting, and fountains had its own charm, but I was disappointed because I had been expecting the grand and innovative show of the old Expo days.
