From Zermatt GGB to Gornergrat, you need to take a cogwheel train. After using the Swiss pass to get a 50% discount, I paid 57 Swiss francs. The ticket price is for reference only. The ticket price will fluctuate during the off-season and peak season. We went there during the National Day. The starting point is opposite the Zermatt train station. It takes 5 stops to get to Gornergrat by cogwheel train. Gornergrat is the last stop. Due to the high altitude, it is easier to see the Matterhorn. Taking reflection photos in Rotenboden requires higher weather conditions. We waited for two hours before we saw it.

Matterhorn is one of the iconic attractions of Switzerland. You can see the tip of the snow-capped mountain from time to time in the town of Zermatt. You can also go to the town's observation deck to admire the snow-capped mountain. You can also see the golden mountain in the sun at sunset and dusk. To see the snow-capped mountain up close, you still have to take the gear train to Gornergrat. Generally, you start from Zermatt GBB first, then reach Gornergrat, the highest altitude, where the probability of seeing the Matterhorn is greater, and then go down one stop to Rotenboden to see the reflection, which requires higher weather conditions, and sometimes you have to wait for sunny days. After watching the reflection, you can choose to return by the original route, or continue to play one stop at a time. It is recommended to check the weather with a local app before departure. Zermatt tickets are not cheap either. The price varies in the off-season and peak season. In early October, it is 114 euros, and the Swiss Pass can be discounted by half.

Beautiful lakeside promenade, both from Saint-Brice to the city center and from the city center to Boudry. The lake and the landscape change frequently depending on the weather and the season. The summer vacation at home was 5 days of yoga at 7 am in Jeunes Rives (city of Neuchâtel), where the setting is spectacular with hundreds of birds flying around and landing on the lake. In short, the lake reminds you of vacation, no matter where you are when traveling in the world. I'd be happy to see him again.
