Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare
Renfe supports large families in Spain with discounted fares, offering 20% for general and 50% for special category families on AVE and Larga Distancia trains. However, these discounts are not valid on AVE International, Avant, or Cercanías trains. Additionally, single-parent families can enjoy discounts on Rodalies services in Catalonia by presenting a certificate issued by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Renfe Children Fare

These children can select seats on AVE, AVE International, and Avant trains, and they can make changes or get refunds according to the ticket type, potentially incurring a fee.
