Beautiful in all seasons, suitable for couples/families/photographers, offering excellent value. I. Core Photo Spots (100% Photo Guarantee) 1. Starting Point: Songdo Beach Station - Must-Do: Take photos with the cartoon sculptures (dolphin/octopus) outside the station, take a short walk on the beach (play in the sand in summer). - Tips: Purchase tickets on-site outside of holidays; waiting time ≤ 10 minutes. 2. During the Cable Car Ride - Cabin Options: Standard Cabin (high cost-effectiveness, excellent view); Crystal Clear Cabin (wave-viewing view, not recommended for those with a fear of heights). - Must-Shoot: Frame the cable car with the Yonggung Cloud Bridge, the rocky outcrops, and the Busan Port Bridge with distant views of massive ships. 3. Destination: Sky Park Station - 3rd Floor Observation Deck: Overlooking the cable car and Songdo Bay in panoramic view, take photos with the "Little Prince and the Fox" sculpture (ideal for couples/families). - Hilltop Park: Cherry blossoms in spring, autumn foliage viewing, lawns perfect for picnics/relaxation. - Nearby Extensions: 10-minute walk to Yonggung Cloud Bridge (transparent bridge surface, amazing experience); 20-minute walk to Amnam Park (hidden photo spots, perfect for capturing the cable car and suspension bridge together). 4. Must-Visit Nearby Areas (Connecting Attractions) - Gamcheon Culture Village (10-minute drive): Graffiti walls, unique shops, pick up a map and follow the directions, rest at the Little Prince Café. - Nampo-dong (15-minute drive): Shopping and snacks, vibrant night market atmosphere. - Yonggungsa Temple (20-minute drive): Seaside cliff temple, stunning sunset views. II. Must-Try Foods (Authentic and Guaranteed) Food Type | Highlights | Recommended Shop Busan Seafood Hot Pot | Fresh seafood, paired with vegetables/tofu, incredibly flavorful. Seafood restaurant near Songdo Beach. Grilled Eel | Freshly killed and grilled, brushed with a secret sauce, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. "Wonjo Grilled Eel Restaurant" in Nampo-dong (30-year-old establishment). Spicy Rice Cakes | Soft, chewy, and spicy, served with fish cakes. Street stalls in Nampo-dong/"Stir-fried Squid Street". Avoiding Pitfalls (Skip the Detours) 1. Ticket Purchase Pitfalls - No advance reservation required, tickets can be purchased on-site; arrive early on holidays (waiting time may exceed 30 minutes). - Don't blindly follow the trend of the Crystal Carriage; the regular carriages offer better value. Those with a fear of heights should be cautious when choosing the transparent carriages. - Seniors (65+), children (6-12 years old), and disabled persons can enjoy ticket discounts with valid identification. 2. Avoiding Sightseeing Pitfalls - Avoid peak seasons in summer/holidays/weekends; weekdays/off-peak seasons offer a better experience. - Check the weather forecast in advance: visibility is poor on rainy/windy days, and services may be suspended; prioritize sunny/cloudy days. - Do not climb rocks (slippery and dangerous); stay in designated areas. - Protect yourself from the sun in summer and dress warmly in winter (strong sea breezes). 3. Avoiding Dining Pitfalls - Restaurants inside the station are expensive; prioritize restaurants near Songdo Beach/Nampo-dong. - Choose reputable seafood restaurants to avoid eating stale seafood (which can cause stomach upset). - Eat spicy food in moderation to avoid getting a sore throat or stomach upset. IV. Quick Itineraries (Suitable for Different Time Slots) 1. One-Day Tour (Complete Coverage of Classic Activities) 9:00-12:00: Songdo Cable Car → Sky Park → Yonggung Cloud Bridge (Lunch: Songdo Seafood Restaurant) 13:30-17:00: Gamcheon Culture Village (Rest at The Little Prince Cafe) 17:00-20:00: Nampo-dong (Shopping + Grilled Eel/Squid, Night Market) 2. Tips - Best Time to Visit: Spring (March-April for Cherry Blossoms), Autumn (October-November for Autumn Foliage), Summer Nights (Light Shows) - Items to bring: sunscreen, sunglasses (summer); thick coat, scarf (winter); camera (for photography enthusiasts).
The Songdao Cable Car is fun and not expensive. There is also a park on the mountain where you can walk around and enjoy the natural seaside scenery. There are many souvenirs to choose from when getting on and off the bus. There are also staff to help take photos, which is a good experience! The scenery on the cable car is very beautiful, so enjoy it. There are also local snacks after getting off the bus, so you won't be hungry.
I really feel that it is more cost-effective than in China. There are not so many people in the summer vacation, and it is also very photogenic. You can buy round-trip tickets. [Scenery] Beautiful, more photogenic on sunny days. [Fun] There are many places to take pictures after passing by, and you can also sit there to enjoy the cool air. There are also some snacks. [Cost-effectiveness] For scenic spots, there are not as many people as in China, and you can buy tickets on site. The transparent glass is a little more expensive🤏, but the experience is very different. My family is afraid, so I didn’t buy the transparent glass
It was pretty good, the scenery was excellent, but the Crystal Cabin was a bit scary, especially on the way back when it started raining and the wind was quite strong. It was a little shaky and on the sea, which was quite terrifying. Everything else was great. When you get to the top of the mountain, there's a beautiful little park. Overall, it was a very nice place. There were quite a few Taiwanese and Thai people, as well as many foreigners.
Songdo Sea Cable car was reborn as the brand of Busan Air Cruz in June 2017 through a restoration project to revive the old reputation of Songdo Beach, Korea's first public beach. From Songlim Park east of Songdo Beach to Amnam Park west of Songdo Beach, you can enjoy the thrill of being in the middle of the sea, as well as Songdo Beach, Busan Yeongdo and Namhang Bridge, Songdo Coastal Dulle Road, and the surfacing cliffs.
