St. Fagans National Museum of History

St. Fagans National Museum of History is one of the world's finest open-air museums, located on a beautiful estate with over 400 years of history in the suburbs of Cardiff. The museum shares the story of the lives, work, and leisure of the people of Wales, and staff communicate in Welsh daily. St. Fagans features over 40 original buildings relocated brick-by-brick from different parts of Wales, including a row of blacksmith shops, several farmhouses, a schoolroom, and a medieval church. In the museum's workshops, artisans such as blacksmiths and clog makers demonstrate their crafts daily, while many farm animals live leisurely in the museum's fields. Indoor galleries exhibit Welsh costumes and agricultural tools. There is also a hands-on gallery that allows visitors to experience the life of the Welsh people firsthand.
