The Wuhou Temple is definitely worth visiting. I went there with a sense of reverence because I love reading "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and admire Zhuge Liang. I saw the two memorials to the emperor, many rubbings, and statues of Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, and many other heroes of Shu Han. The environment inside is also quite nice, and many tourists were taking photos.
I visited Wuhou Temple again, and this time I decided to immerse myself in the experience. I hired a professional guide, and Director Ding handled the nearly 3-hour tour with ease. He explained the history, debunked myths, and even prepared a lot of materials himself. It was a very informative afternoon!
I went in the summer, it wasn't too hot, very comfortable. If you know about the history of the Three Kingdoms, it's a great place to visit. I highly recommend it. What impressed me most was the rotten wood statue next to Liu Bei, representing his son; "Rotten wood cannot be carved."
When elderly people travel abroad, it is inevitable that they are unable to do what they want. Their pace can no longer keep up with their heart. They have to accept their old age, not to mention that they have chronic diseases. Seeing the old lady staggering with one foot deep and one foot shallow, I know that she is tired. So, in the morning, accompanied by the rainy weather in Chengdu, I woke up naturally and walked slowly in the city. The first stop is the Yayi Hotel, which is small but complete, and the service is also in place. But traveling is not just about changing your life from a familiar city to a strange place, so we moved to a hotel near Taikoo Li, which is more convenient for the city attractions. The geographical location is like a five-horse splitting corpse for the layout of the attractions, with scattered points and focal points. The geographical word is that it is connected in all directions. It is also very good. The foreman at the front desk is warm and thoughtful, generous with words, and answers all questions. The best service is nothing more than timely. After a short rest, I took the old lady to have a simple meal and booked a car to the Wuhou Temple Scenic Area. The ticket gate was bustling with people. The tour guides of various tour groups were holding group flags and greeting their groups to enter the park. The elderly have their own advantages. I took advantage of the old lady's preferential treatment and took the convenient passage for the elderly, the weak, the sick and the disabled. My knowledge of the historical figures of Shu Han came from the fragments of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", but I have never read Luo Guanzhong's "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" in its entirety. With my knowledge, I would be more interested in watching TV series. I don't even know a little about the history of Shu Han here. I only remember the famous quotes in Zhuge Liang's "Chu Shi Biao": Be close to wise ministers and stay away from villains. If you die before you succeed in your mission, it will make the hero cry. There are also some things like repairing the plank road in the open and crossing Chencang in secret, the empty city plan, Zhou Yu fighting Huang Gai, one willing to fight and the other willing to be beaten, why is there Yu and Liang, borrowing arrows from a straw boat, etc. My daughter's junior high school Chinese teacher asked parents to check the recitation of the text, and I remembered them by the way. On the contrary, it is the officialdom strategies of Cao Cao and Liu Bei in Li Zongwu's "The Thick Black School". I accidentally flipped through a few of them. One is probably cruel enough, and would rather let the world let me down than let the world let me down. The other is to show weakness, and the crying child gets milk. This is not a wild history, but just a summary and conclusion of the character analysis. There are many people in the scenic area. I am eager to popularize some history of Shu Han "Three Kingdoms" for myself, but how to say it, it is better to go home and read books and watch documentaries. The sculptures of famous figures in "Three Kingdoms" are designed and made by unknown craftsmen in the world. They look like drama, Sichuan opera masks, and have no ancient appearance. The introduction is also a few strokes. The glass partition makes the distance between us farther. Seeing this, I suddenly had an idea and prepared to go back to Xi'an to visit Wuzhangyuan and Wuhou Temple in Baoji, Dingjun Mountain, maybe there is a stronger heroic atmosphere in the battlefield. The Wuhou Temple is full of the well-known history, figures and culture of Shu Han. Except for a small number of cultural relics and inscriptions embedded in the walls, as well as the corresponding Tang and Ming steles, which are very old and serve as witnesses of history, the other exhibitions are simple mind maps, reflecting historical events through historical figures and presenting the grand war scenes of the year with miniature landscape models. It is clear at a glance, and it feels calm without any wind or rain.
Enjoying the reputation of "Three Kingdoms Holy Land", the National First-Class Museum is worth visiting. 1. It is the only temple in the country that commemorates the heroes of Shu Han, such as Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei, and is also the most influential Three Kingdoms Relics Museum in the world. 2. On March 4, 1961, Wuhou Temple was announced by the State Council as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. In 2006, it was rated as a "National AAAA-level Tourist Scenic Area". In 2008, it was rated as a national first-class museum. In 2016, it was awarded the "National Three Kingdoms Cultural Research Center" by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. 3. Tang Stele was carved in the fourth year of Yuanhe in the Tang Dynasty (809 AD). The full name is "Shu Prime Minister Zhuge Wuhou Temple Stele", written by Pei Du, a famous prime minister in the Tang Dynasty, written by Liu Gongchuo (brother of Liu Gongquan), a famous calligrapher, and engraved by Lu Jian, a famous craftsman. Its articles, calligraphy and engravings are extremely exquisite, and it is known as the "Three Wonders Stele".
Wuhou Temple, located at No. 231 Wuhou Temple Street, Chengdu, consists of three major sections: the Three Kingdoms Historical Relics Area (Cultural Relics Area), the West Area (Three Kingdoms Cultural Experience Area), and the Jinli Folk Customs Area (Jinli), covering an area of about 150,000 square meters. It was first built in 223 AD. When it was rebuilt in the early Ming Dynasty, Wuhou Temple was incorporated into the "Han Zhaolie Temple" to form a temple for the emperor and his ministers. However, in the late Ming Dynasty, the temple was destroyed by war. The existing main building was actually rebuilt on the old site in 1672 during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. It is the only temple in the country that commemorates the heroes of Shu Han, such as Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei, and is also the most influential Three Kingdoms relics museum in the world.
The Wuhou Temple in Chengdu is well worth a visit, especially if you take your children there. This way, they can feel China's profound cultural heritage and appreciate the great culture of the Three Kingdoms from an early age. It not only talks about loyalty and fraternity, military strategy, how to have your own network of contacts, and how to make full use of talents, but also teaches you how to form your own team in future work and life, what kind of people with what kind of thinking and abilities should be in the team, how to divide the work and cooperate, how to formulate strategic goals, strategic steps, and strategic implementation plans, and how to give full play to and utilize all available talents. Only in this way can you be invincible in today's society, and thus make greater contributions to society and become the pillars of the country!
Wuhou Temple, located at No. 231 Wuhou Temple Street, Wuhou District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is the main temple to commemorate Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period. It was built in the first year of Zhangwu in Shu Han (221 AD). Wuhou Temple is not only a carrier of people's affirmation and praise for Zhuge Liang's spirit of "devoting all his life to his country until his death", but also one of the key cultural relics protection units in the country. Wuhou Temple consists of four parts: Han Zhaolie Temple, Wuhou Temple, Huiling Mausoleum, and Sanyi Temple. It belongs to the cultural heritage protection area of Chengdu Wuhou Temple Museum.
