A few days ago, my friend recommended that Yunshang Ziranyuan Hot Spring Hotel was holding an event with great discounts, so I checked it online and it was indeed very attractive, so I booked a room and planned to go there for two days when I was free. Located in the Jiulonggou Scenic Area in Chongzhou, I passed by there in the summer and felt that it was a very good summer hotel. The mountains are green and the water is beautiful, the climate is cool, the environment is good, and the scenery is very good. This week, I happened to be free, so I made an appointment with the hotel and stayed there. I felt that this place is not only a summer resort, but also a good place to watch the autumn scenery, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, closer to nature, the sky is blue, although there are no red leaves all over the mountains, but the colors here are also very rich, red, yellow, green, layered, and the rich autumn colors are all over. The clear stream flows quietly, there are no groups of tourists, and there are not many hotel guests. I quietly enjoy the grace of nature there.

In the summer, I came to Jiulonggou for only one purpose, to play in the water and escape the heat. The water is good, but I was not allowed to go in the water. The patrol officers were always guarding, so I could only drink tea on the shore. The temperature was a few degrees lower than in the city, but it was still hot. What's the point of coming here? Traveling more than 70 kilometers to squeeze in and eat expensive meals? Those who haven't been here suggest not to come
I saw Jiulonggou online for a May Day trip to the suburbs, but I hadn't done any research beforehand. Upon arrival, I discovered that the temples and the scenic area had been destroyed by the May 12 earthquake, and the area was closed. The narrow mountain roads required careful passing at certain points, resulting in occasional traffic jams. We parked at the former visitor center (10 yuan fee). I say "former" because the center was no longer staffed and looked abandoned. I opted to hike to the scenic area, which the map shows is 1.2 kilometers. The walk took about half an hour. There was a lot of traffic along the way, so I needed to be careful. The scenery on foot was completely different from what I enjoyed from the car: mountains on one side and a stream on the other. The trees lined the road, and the temperature was several degrees lower than in the city, so the air was quite good! I also saw quite a few abandoned houses along the way, probably caused by the earthquake and mudslides. Natural disasters are unavoidable, and investors who invest here are unlucky. Arriving at the scenic area, it was crowded with cars and pedestrians. Parking at the visitor center proved a wise decision. The road leading to the scenic area was blocked by a wall, so some young, sturdy tourists climbed over it. However, you can also go down the side into the ditch and around the wall. Behind the wall are several temples, now dilapidated by the earthquake. We didn't go up the mountain again, but it was nice to feel the gurgling water and breathe the fresh air. Overall, I found the scenery quite pleasant, and it was mainly for relaxation. PS: Make sure you wear non-slip shoes; the path down to the ditch is quite easy to walk on.
Summer is worth visiting. It's suitable to take children to drift.
Located in Sanlang Town, Chongzhou City, Chengdu, it has convenient transportation and parking. Going up the ditch, the scenery is beautiful and the temperature is several degrees lower than outside, making it a good place to escape the heat in summer.
