M50***55M50***55This is a place with a rich cultural heritage; I should visit it more often. I didn't get to climb Yulei Mountain today, but I saw the Fish Mouth, Feisha Weir, and Baopingkou. The weather was also nice today. I'll definitely come again next time.

M59***60M59***60The autumn break brought an insane number of people; it was so crowded you could barely move. The scenery was just heads everywhere. Although it's a Taoist holy site, the level of commercialization far exceeded my expectations. The cultural aspects probably require explanation; simply visiting doesn't offer much of an experience. However, the scenery on the back mountain is truly beautiful, and the entrance fee is only 20 yuan. Compared to that, the front mountain seems like a poor value for money.

Anonymous userAnonymous userThere’s a shuttle bus from the Dujiangyan train station directly to Panda Valley. Took around 2.5hrs for the full walk. Saw sooo many pandas! They tend to be more active in the morning, and the crowds start coming in from around 9.30AM

Anonymous userAnonymous userThis is a great place to visit if you want a more relaxed panda-viewing experience compared to other giant panda bases in Chengdu. Unlike the more famous panda parks that are usually extremely crowded, this place is much calmer and less hectic. What I really liked is that you can still see pandas of different ages, even without chasing after any “superstar” pandas. The environment feels more spacious and comfortable, making the visit much more enjoyable.I visited on China’s National Day — one of the busiest travel periods — yet the park was still not very crowded, which says a lot. If your goal is simply to see pandas peacefully rather than ticking off famous names, this is definitely a place worth considering.

SparkFred_17SparkFred_17Hidden deep in the mountains, this stunningly beautiful hidden gem features babbling brooks and swirling mists. The winding path feels like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. A gentle mountain breeze caresses your face; every breath is a gift from nature. You might even stumble upon a small waterfall, where sunlight instantly soothes all your weariness! The most beautiful scenery is often found in places rarely visited by humans. Are you ready to pack light and go?

汉森妈妈汉森妈妈A must-see for Dujiangyan travelers is the Guanxian Ancient Town. At night, you should definitely head to the South Bridge to see the "Blue Tears." The rushing river is so romantic, like a dreamlike fairytale, you can't help but exclaim in amazement!

难 得糊 涂难 得糊 涂The front of Qingcheng Mountain is a national 5A-level scenic area and a World Cultural Heritage site, renowned for its serene beauty and considered one of the birthplaces of Taoism. 4. Classic 4-Hour Tour Route (Circular, No Turning Back): Mountain Gate (Jianfu Palace) → Shisun Hall → Yuecheng Lake (Boat available) → Buyun Corridor Cableway (up) → Shangqing Palace → Laojun Pavilion (summit for panoramic views) → Chaoyang Cave → Zushi Hall → Tianshi Cave → Natural Picture → Mountain Gate. The front of the mountain is centered around Taoist temples and monasteries, and a half-day round trip to Chengdu is possible. Taking the cable car and then walking the circular route is the most time-efficient. Don't miss the panoramic view of "Qingcheng, the most secluded place under heaven" from Laojun Pavilion at the summit.

LapoleonLapoleonI went to Sunac Land on October 8th and had a great experience. There were few people, the projects were good, the roller coaster was exciting, and the flying theater was also very good, no less than Disney's flying over the horizon.

David MosherDavid MosherI’ll give this review from the perspective of someone that learned to snowboard in Colorado. It’s a little pricey, but we are talking about a massive indoor venue that has to make their own snow. It’s all year skiing and snowboarding so I guess you should be willing to pay the price. It’s less than what you would pay for a lift ticket and rental in Colorado 😁. Things you should know: 1) There is one Blue run that turns into a Green. 2) There is one chair lift and several magic carpets. 3) The price includes the lift ticket, pants and jacket, helmet, boots, ski/snowboard rental and a locker. It doesn’t include gloves, goggles, or face gear. You will won’t gloves and face gear, but can do without goggles…no sun or enough speed generated to need them. If you forget your gloves and face gear they are available for purchase at several shops within the building. 4) The equipment is beginner quality so don’t have high expectations of carving it up, they are rentals. 5) Just take it easy 🏂.

难 得糊 涂难 得糊 涂Guanxian Ancient City (now Dujiangyan Ancient City District) is a national 4A-level scenic area, separated from the Dujiangyan Scenic Area by a river. It has prospered since ancient times because of the Dujiangyan Irrigation System: Its initial construction dates back to the Northern Wei Dynasty of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, more than 1500 years ago. The walls were built with bricks during the Ming Dynasty, repaired during the Qing Dynasty, and rebuilt after the 2008 earthquake according to the concept of "integrated city and scenic area." It reopened in 2012. Spanning 0.9 km², this "half-mountain, half-city" area features water flowing into the streets, creating a winding and meandering landscape that blends urban and scenic elements, showcasing the Ming and Qing Dynasty style of western Sichuan. Key Highlights: South Bridge – A Qing Dynasty covered bridge spanning the Neijiang River, offering views of the Baopingkou Shoal and the "Blue Tears" nightscape; Ming City Wall & Xuanhua Gate – Remnants of the Hongwu-era city walls, iconic gateways to the ancient city; West Street – The starting point of the 340-meter-long Tea Horse Road, featuring stone-paved streets and old wooden shops, with the former residence of Dong Shouping nestled within; Confucian Temple & Water Conservancy Office – The largest county-level Confucian temple in Southwest China and the only remaining ancient water conservancy office site in the country; Yangliu River & Xingfu Road – Lined with bars, teahouses, and intangible cultural heritage workshops, this national-level cultural tourism consumption cluster is ablaze with lights at night. Guanxian Ancient City is a living water culture ancient city "born from the weir and dancing with the water," offering a unique experience of "every step a step towards historical sites and the vibrant life of the city" with free admission.
