Tips
Best Visiting Time: Spring and autumn seasons have pleasant weather, suitable for sightseeing.
Duration: It is recommended to reserve 4–5 hrs for the Front Mountain and 5–6 hrs for the Back Mountain.
The autumn break brought an insane number of people; it was so crowded you could barely move. The scenery was just heads everywhere. Although it's a Taoist holy site, the level of commercialization far exceeded my expectations. The cultural aspects probably require explanation; simply visiting doesn't offer much of an experience. However, the scenery on the back mountain is truly beautiful, and the entrance fee is only 20 yuan. Compared to that, the front mountain seems like a poor value for money.
Qingcheng Mountain has beautiful scenery. On a sunny day, the sun shines brightly, and the scenery is stunning. You can take the cable car up and walk down. I'd love to go again sometime, though it's a bit tiring on the legs. It's important to exercise more and get out more often. The air in Qingcheng Mountain is truly excellent; I highly recommend a visit.
This is the second time this old 5A scenic area has reopened. From the high-speed rail station, you can take a sightseeing bus for 20 yuan to the scenic area gate, climb a short mountain path to Yuecheng Lake, take the cable car up the mountain, which saves a lot of energy. Then, you can climb to Laojun Pavilion, take photos, and then go down the mountain to Tianshi Cave. Finally, you can take an electric car back to the high-speed rail station. It's very convenient and I highly recommend visiting it.
This is one of the four famous Taoist mountains in China. It is worth visiting many times. The first time I went there, I felt the beautiful scenery, it was just like a landscape painting. The second time I went there, I deeply felt the profound culture of Taoism. Taoism makes people understand the principles of work, life, study and life. The third time I went there, I was more familiar with it. I wanted to know more about the connotation and characteristics of this mountain, especially the legendary martial arts of the Qingcheng Sect seen in movies and TV series. Although Qingcheng Mountain is not very high, it is very complete for visiting here. There are cable cars going up and down the mountain, and you can even ride the bamboo slide poles in Sichuan, which is very interesting. This mountain is the first mountain in Shu.
Qingcheng Mountain, located in the southwest of Dujiangyan City, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, is a famous scenic spot and Taoist mountain in Sichuan Province. It is not only a national AAAAA tourist attraction, but also a world cultural heritage site. It is known as "Qingcheng Tianxia" and is famous for its quiet and profound natural scenery and rich Taoist culture. Qingcheng Mountain is divided into two parts: the front mountain and the back mountain. The front mountain is centered on rich cultural relics and Taoist culture, while the back mountain is focused on natural scenery and leisure vacations, providing tourists with different tour experiences. The history of Qingcheng Mountain can be traced back to the Eastern Han Dynasty. At that time, the famous Taoist Zhang Daoling established Taoism here and founded Taoism, making Qingcheng Mountain one of the birthplaces of Taoism in China. Qingcheng Mountain is not only famous for its natural beauty, but also favored by tourists for its profound cultural heritage and religious significance.
- Quiet and peaceful: Qingcheng Mountain is known as "the most secluded place in the world". Surrounded by undulating peaks, lush forests and gurgling mountain streams, walking among them is like being in a natural green barrier, which can make people forget the hustle and bustle and troubles of the city. - Strong Taoist culture: As one of the birthplaces of Taoism in China, Qingcheng Mountain has many Taoist temples and cultural relics, such as the Shangqing Palace, which was built in the Jin Dynasty. The existing palace was built during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. Here you can feel the strong Taoist cultural atmosphere.
📍Mount Qingcheng·𝙦𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙣 “Worship the water at Dujiangyan and seek the way at Mount Qingcheng” 👫The quiet and tranquil environment relieves worries, and the people and scenery are all immortal. Take a sightseeing bus to the "First Mountain in Western Shu", walk to Yuecheng Lake, walk around the lake to the cableway, follow Shangqing Palace-Quanzhen Temple-Tianshi Cave-Zushi Hall-Dachi Tiangong to the top Laojun Pavilion, and finally take the cableway down the mountain, and then walk down the mountain. The whole walk takes 4 hours, and the highest altitude of Mount Qingcheng is 2434 meters. Mount Qingcheng is surrounded by clouds and mist, and it is really beautiful [color].
Qingcheng Mountain is very green, there are many trees, and there are many Taoists. Tourists lined up, one by one, and sweat rolled down the forehead, and they couldn't wipe it. The woman selling water on the mountain road had a brighter eye and a bigger voice. "Ice mineral water " she shouted, her voice pierced into the eardrum, more than the mountain wind. I think this mountain is about not a fairy mountain anymore. The Taoists were busy collecting tickets, the tourists were busy taking pictures, and even the stone monument "Qingcheng World Quiet" was also touched by the oil. The mountain is not the same as the mountain.
