1.5h Direct from Chengdu: I Stayed 5 Days in Qingcheng Mountain Just for This Floor-to-Ceiling Window Private Hot Spring Villa is So Healing
Who understands! Recently, I was so tired I wanted to escape. I discovered "Bo'an Senyang Private Hot Spring Villa" in Qingcheng Mountain — a Southeast Asian-style courtyard hidden in the forest, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the entire green mountain. Soaking in the private hot spring while listening to the mountain breeze, I originally planned to stay just 1 day but ended up staying 5 days and didn’t want to leave😭
📍 Super convenient transportation! Perfect for the lazy ones
🚗 1.5h self-drive from Chengdu, navigate to "No.132, Group 5, Taian Community, Qingchengshan Town," no detours along the way
🅿️ Free parking, electric cars can be charged! 10min to Qingcheng Front Mountain, 30min to Dujiangyan, 20min to Sunac Cultural Tourism City, super smooth to explore the surroundings~
🏘️ Only 400 meters from Taian Ancient Town, stroll the ancient town and enjoy snacks at night, hide in the villa to breathe fresh air during the day, perfect!
🏡 The rooms blew me away! Each one is like a healing script
• Crazy about the "Xinghan" room type: creamy white walls + vintage carved furniture, full Southeast Asian antique vibe! Huge floor-to-ceiling window facing the green mountains, open the curtains in the morning and the lush greenery floods in, sitting by the window daydreaming for an hour never gets old
• One room, one private hot spring + a huge balcony is amazing: soak in the private hot spring watching the rolling mountains, the mountain breeze brushing your ears, the scent of Parma bath products drifting, fatigue instantly gone! The balcony has a lounge chair, perfect for sunbathing and sipping tea in the afternoon, even your breathing slows down
• Detail lovers will be thrilled: minibar stocked with drinks, bedding so soft you sink into clouds, plus a gym and meeting room, perfect for families, team building, or couples~
💫 Facilities & experiences: You can relax and still have fun
• Infinity pool is super photogenic: wear a summer dress for photos, the pool reflects the green mountains, feels like soaking in the forest. In the evening, lie by the pool drinking afternoon tea, the air filled with the scent of grass and trees
• Forest-style healing space: the book bar is wood-themed, curl up on the sofa reading at dusk, listening to insects and birds; the tea room lets you copy sutras or make scented sachets, calming and super stress-relieving
• Dinner tastes like wild mountain flavors: bamboo shoots stewed beef is tender, wild vegetable fried duck egg is incredibly fresh, river fish is super tender, all local fresh ingredients, dining by the floor-to-ceiling window feels like a "forest picnic"~
🌿 Nearby activities: 3-day itinerary with no repeats
1. Taian Ancient Town (5min walk): stroll the old streets, eat tofu pudding and cured meat, lanterns light up at night creating a great atmosphere
2. Qingcheng Back Mountain (8min walk to Feiquan Valley entrance): hike and see streams, when tired return to the villa for a private hot spring soak, all about "relaxation"
3. Dujiangyan / Sunac Cultural Tourism City: for a livelier vibe, perfect for a day trip, then return to the villa to relax, feeling amazing~
✨ Must-know little surprises
• The butler is super thoughtful! Prepares welcome fruit in advance and draws clear local travel routes for you, even marks the best snacks in the ancient town
• Even better on rainy days! Mist swirls around the villa, sitting on the balcony watching mountain fog drift through your fingers feels like entering a fairyland (remember to bring a light jacket, it’s cool in the mountains morning and night)
• Recommended for girlfriends/couples to stay in "Xinghan," families with kids should choose rooms with small balconies so kids can play outside while parents soak in the private hot spring without interruption~
If you want to escape the city and find a place to "slow down," this place is a definite lock! Floor-to-ceiling windows, private hot springs, forest oxygen bar — once you stay, you’ll understand: healing only needs a mountain, a window, and a warm pool~
The front of Qingcheng Mountain is a national 5A-level scenic area and a World Cultural Heritage site, renowned for its serene beauty and considered one of the birthplaces of Taoism. 4. Classic 4-Hour Tour Route (Circular, No Turning Back): Mountain Gate (Jianfu Palace) → Shisun Hall → Yuecheng Lake (Boat available) → Buyun Corridor Cableway (up) → Shangqing Palace → Laojun Pavilion (summit for panoramic views) → Chaoyang Cave → Zushi Hall → Tianshi Cave → Natural Picture → Mountain Gate. The front of the mountain is centered around Taoist temples and monasteries, and a half-day round trip to Chengdu is possible. Taking the cable car and then walking the circular route is the most time-efficient. Don't miss the panoramic view of "Qingcheng, the most secluded place under heaven" from Laojun Pavilion at the summit.
The front hills of Qingcheng Mountain feel like stepping into a natural ink painting. Lush green trees shimmer, their branches adorned with glimmers of morning light. A gentle breeze brings a refreshing breeze. Strolling along the winding paths, the ancient temples and stone steps on either side quietly tell of a thousand years of history, inspiring awe. In the distance, surrounded by mountains, shrouded in mist, the scenery resembles a dreamlike fairyland. The gurgling stream, crystal clear, reflects the blue sky, white clouds, and verdant mountains and trees, creating a moving landscape painting. The air here is filled with the subtle fragrance of tea and flowers, refreshing and soothing. Whether ascending to the summit to gaze down or simply sitting quietly in the woods, one can experience a rare tranquility and peace. The front hills of Qingcheng Mountain are not only a gift from nature, but also a spiritual haven. Slow down, breathe deeply, and let this lush green paradise take you away from the hustle and bustle, and rediscover inner peace and purity. Every corner here is waiting for you to explore and feel the purity and beauty of nature.
A famous Taoist mountain, shrouded in mist, the scenery is unique in the mist and rain. A mountain's fame lies not in its height, but in the presence of immortals. A river's spirit lies not in its depth, but in the presence of dragons. While the climb up in the rain was a bit rushed, it was also a unique experience. The staff at the scenic area were very patient in answering questions. There were activities and food to enjoy. I didn't take the cable car because the line was a bit long. Those with more energy can try hiking up the mountain.
The scenery is quiet and suitable for cooling off in the summer. The Taoist temple is also very distinctive. The cable car is not built properly. I had to climb halfway up the mountain to take it. The mountain scenery is mainly quiet and feels average. There are shortcuts that are steeper. The signboards are not perfect and not friendly to the elderly. The Taoist priest is very nice. I also drew a good fortune. I am happy ✧٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧!! Important reminder, you can see the murals when the cable car goes up, but there is no prompt.
We took the cable car up the mountain and walked down. Qingcheng is indeed one of the most secluded places in the world, with many tourists. However, the gate of the scenic area is too far from the parking lot, so we can only take a sightseeing bus.
