Sanxingdui Cultural and Creative Products: Located on the first floor. Unfortunately, it was too late in the day, and the CNY 88 blind box with the sacred tree I wanted was sold out! Yes, sold out! But I did manage to buy a face-changing fridge magnet, a mask brooch, and a sun-wheel copper charm!
✅Must-See Artifacts
1. Bronze Standing Figure: A bronze figure standing 1.8 meters tall on a 0.8-meter-high pedestal. This is one of the most representative artifacts of the Sanxingdui Kingdom and a rare large bronze figure from ancient civilizations.
2. Bronze Vertical-Eyed Mask: Among the many bronze masks unearthed at Sanxingdui, the most peculiar and majestic is the Bronze Vertical-Eyed Mask. It is 0.66 meters high and 1.38 meters wide, one of the most famous and mysterious artifacts of the ancient Shu civilization.
3. Bronze Sun-Shaped Artifact: A sun wheel resembling a "steering wheel" uses five rays and a halo to represent the sun's brilliance. Artifacts of this shape have never been seen in previous archaeological finds.
4. Gold-Masked Bronze Head: Gold was highly valued in ancient Shu. Among the 57 bronze heads, only four wear gold masks, indicating their high status. Scholars believe that the hairpin hairstyle may also be a symbol of status.
5. Bronze Altar: The Bronze Altar unearthed from the No. 2 sacrificial pit has been restored through research. Its structure, from top to bottom, consists of a shrine and mountain peaks, a shaman, and a pair of mythical birds, symbolizing the three realms of heaven, earth, and humanity, showcasing the ancient Shu people's mythological worldview.
When the vibrant atmosphere of the nighttime economy, the human touch of tourism services, and the rustic charm of the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism intertwine, they create a new era of urban development, reflecting a global perspective on urban landscape.
It was a fantastic experience; the Sanxingdui culture is truly fascinating. Our guide, Chun Chun, was very professional, giving us a deep understanding of the extraordinary imagination and creativity of the ancients. Looking forward to coming again!
First of all, the lecture was exceptionally good. I highly recommend Teacher Wenjun. He was incredibly detailed, from the itinerary to the meeting point, and even included breaks in between. The lecture lasted over three hours, and each part was explained in great detail, with excellent background information. It was never boring at all. I highly recommend it!
There are many precious cultural relics on display in the Sanxingdui Museum. These cultural relics demonstrate the superb craftsmanship and technology level of the ancient Shu people and reveal that the ancient Shu Kingdom once had a brilliant and splendid civilization. It is well worth your exploration.
The Samsung Dui Museum is located in Guanghan, Sichuan Province, and is a great window to understand the civilization of ancient yushu. We did a lot of homework before coming to Sanxingdui. We read some books about Sanxing and Sanxingdui. We also learned about the main exhibits of Sanxingdui. This museum is really shocking and worth a visit! The tour order is first floor, second floor, and then -1 floor. On the first floor, there are bronze statues of the Century Dreaming Wei Ran Wang. Gold mask, gold full-face bronze mask. Bronze human head with light mask, Taozhu, etc. On the second floor, there are bronze sacred trees, money trees, bronze suns, bronze large masks, bronze bird-shaped fir-shaped jade seals, etc. The underground first floor is the cultural and creative management.
The Samsungdui Museum is located on the banks of the West Duck River in Guanghan City, Sichuan, in the northeast corner of the Samsungdui site. It is a large modern specialty site museum, and the new museum opened in July 2023. The museum displays more than 1,500 pieces (sets) of precious cultural relics unearthed at the site of Samsungdui, such as bronze god tree, bronze statues, gold sticks, gold masks and other treasures. The museum is famous for its unique architecture, exquisite gardens, wonderful cultural relics and exquisite displays. It is the first national scenic spot and the first national-level museum to be selected in the "China World Heritage Preparation List".
Visiting the Sanxingdui Museum, the direct feeling is shocking, especially shocking. The civilization of thousands of years is also highly developed. Such large and exquisite bronzes may not be copied and imagined today. The bronze tree and the strong man are more shocking than one. It is recommended that you ask for a manual explanation, which is more intuitive! After visiting Sanxingdui, you can also stroll around Guanghan City!
