I visited Hechai 1972 in Hefei. Formerly a prison, it's now a cultural and creative park. Its red brick exterior retains the marks of time, yet incorporates modern art. Upon entering, I was captivated by the industrial-style architecture, with tall chimneys and old factory buildings, brimming with a retro feel. The Hefei Home Appliance Story Museum showcases vintage appliances, and wandering through it feels like stepping back in time. There are also sculptures of various shapes and vibrant graffiti walls, brimming with artistic flair. When you're tired of strolling around, relax in a streetside cafe and sip a cup of fragrant coffee. This place is full of surprises, an artistic journey through time and space. Highly recommended!
The adaptability of Hechai and cheongsam is so high, I have been patting him all afternoon. Of course, you can't do without Kawanka in Hefei. There are many handicrafts in it. Miss Sister's woven earrings are really good-looking. It is also very suitable for cheongsam. I bought two pairs, one pair.
The moment you step into Hechai 1972, you will be shocked by this cultural and creative park that was reborn from a prison factory. Between the mottled red brick walls and the rusted steel skeleton, the rough texture of the industrial era and the smart brushstrokes of contemporary art blend perfectly, as if you can hear the rustling of time between the bricks. The renovated dome art gallery transforms the skeleton of the mechanical workshop into an art container. The sun shines through the jagged roof of the factory building and casts geometric spots on the concrete floor. The chimneys that retain production slogans and the old machine tools that stand quietly are no longer cold industrial relics, but living museums that carry the memory of the city. The aroma of coffee wafting from the cultural and creative shops and the smell of paper and ink in the bookstore add a touch of warmth to the heavy industrial background, just like injecting warm blood into the steel skeleton. Every detail here tells us that true rebirth is to let history and the present have an endless dialogue.
Hechai 1972, also known as Hechai 1972, Hechai 1972 Cultural and Creative Park, and Hechai Memory Cultural and Creative Park, is located at the intersection of Jinzhai Road and Tiantangzhai Road in Baohe District, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is the first cultural and creative park in China transformed from a former prison site, covering a total area of about 430 acres. There is a direct bus to this place and it is open to the public free of charge.
Hechai 1972, a popular check-in spot transformed from an abandoned prison. I happened to be in Hefei for my sister's wedding, and took my wife and children here for a stroll. I guess it was because of the holiday, so there was a serious traffic jam when I went there, but after arriving at the scenic spot, I felt that it was very nice inside, suitable for all photography masters to visit here. Every shot is a blockbuster, and I don't think the photos taken by a rookie like me with a mobile phone are ugly...😄In short, it is worth a visit, and you can also get to know the memory of old Hefei...
This place is industrial enough! The steel frame of the old factory is rougher than the gantry of the gym, and the diesel generator is more rusty than the battle damage paint. The prison wall is three meters thick and feels colder than the barbell. The old machine tools exhibited in the modified workshop are all real ones, and the wrench models are more complete than those in the hardware store. It’s just that the "Prison Break" theme T-shirts sold in the cultural and creative store are too feminine. It is recommended to sell the same striped shirts as the prisoners! Disadvantages: 1. The price of the cafe is comparable to robbery 2. Climbing abandoned chimneys is prohibited. Overall four and a half stars, half a star is deducted because the interrogation room experience project is not retained! It is recommended to open the machine tool practical area to let the sissies see what a real man’s workshop is!
This is another cultural and creative park transformed from an old factory. Although it is the only prison factory, it has no characteristics at all. It belongs to the style of old home appliances + nostalgia of the 1970s and 1980s. As Bohrs said, "May all your days be less glorious than tomorrow." The past cannot be changed, but the future can be expected.
