based on 15 reviewsHefei Ocean World really understands ocean lovers like me! The 360-degree underwater tunnel is incredibly immersive; rays glide overhead, sharks swim close by, making you feel like you're truly diving into the deep sea. The jellyfish palace's light and shadow effects are amazing, with tens of thousands of jellyfish resembling a floating starry sky—perfect for taking stunning silhouette photos. The dolphin and sea lion show is high-energy throughout; they spin, catch balls, and even dance, keeping the kids cheering. And the adorable Humboldt penguins waddle around—so cute! The only downsides are that it gets a bit crowded during peak season, and the dining options are limited. But overall, it's great value for money, offering five spectacular shows and educational experiences—perfect for families or friends!

It is a large ocean park integrating marine science education, marine life research, breeding and display, as well as leisure and entertainment, and is a AAA-level tourist attraction. This major marine biological project was jointly built by Singapore's Yao Tai Han Hai Cultural Tourism Group (Andover) and Hefei's Haiheng Group under the Economic and Technological Development Zone. The dolphin and seal show was fantastic, the various jellyfish were beautiful, and seeing marine life up close was truly amazing. There was even Flash from Zootopia, who was so adorable! Overall, it was a pretty good experience.
The price was quite good when there was a promotion. My family only briefly looked at the various kinds of fish. The mermaids, diving, and sea lion and dolphin shows were spectacular; we waited a long time to get good seats. Overall, it's a great summer retreat!

Hefei Ocean World is mainly indoors. Although the interior design is old, it does not prevent people from taking their kids out to see marine animals. It is said that the third phase of the expansion project will be operational in 2027. Of course, it cannot be compared with Chimelong Ocean, which is not on the same level. The first thing to do when you enter the door is to understand the program time of the day, which is hung next to the first fish tank you see when you enter. There are fish storms, mermaid shows, dolphin and sea lion theaters. It is recommended to arrive at the performance area early, otherwise you can't enter if it is full. There are not many people during the Spring Festival, so it is more comfortable to visit. There are underwater tunnels, sharks, penguins, turtles, seals, etc., but due to the limited space, there are not too many.

This place is hardcore enough! The shark tank is 30cm thick, thicker than the glass wall of a gym. When the divers were feeding, the hammerhead shark rushed over, and the impact was stronger than squatting. The seal performance was an absolute display of strength, with 200 pounds of meat jumping up and down without breathing. It’s just that the stingray touching part is too sissy, it is recommended to add a piranha fishing experience area. Disadvantages: 1. The children’s area is so noisy that it hurts my brain 2. The shark teeth sold in the souvenir shop are plastic, bad review! Overall three and a half stars, the deduction is that you can’t bring your own fishing rod to face the shark head-on. It is recommended to add manly challenge projects, such as feeding crocodiles with bare hands!
When we entered the underwater tunnel, a manta ray suddenly flew over our heads, scaring us all to "wow"! Clownfish played hide-and-seek among the corals, more agile than hiding from the teacher in PE class. The Dream Jellyfish Hall was like falling into an alien world, with glowing jellies having a party above our heads. The splashes of water from the sea lions heading the ball just washed the face of the dozing uncle in the front row! Before leaving, I insisted that my parents buy a glowing penguin hairpin and wore it on the way home - we were the most beautiful marine team on the whole street!
