The scenery here is picturesque, with small bridges, flowing water, cobblestone streets, and white-walled, black-tiled houses creating beautiful scenes. Dongzha retains more of the original ecological residential style, allowing visitors to feel the rich atmosphere of daily life. Visitors can also tour traditional workshops and experience ancient handicrafts. Xizha, on the other hand, has been carefully restored, and its night view is particularly enchanting. The waterways and ancient bridges illuminated by lights are like a dream, and a boat ride offers a unique experience.
Wuzhen also boasts a rich cultural heritage. It is the hometown of Mao Dun and is home to the Mu Xin Art Museum, creating a strong literary and artistic atmosphere. Furthermore, its folk culture is abundant, with traditional handicrafts such as dyeing and winemaking being truly remarkable.
As for food, Wuzhen's signature dishes, such as braised duck, whitebait, and Dingsheng cake, are delicious and unforgettable.
However, Wuzhen also has some drawbacks. For example, the large number of tourists during peak season may affect the overall experience. Furthermore, some tourists feel that the area is overly commercialized, with familiar elements such as Yiwu small commodities and bar performances. However, overall, Wuzhen's unique water town charm and rich cultural heritage still allow visitors to experience the unique style of ancient Jiangnan towns, making it a great place to relax and immerse oneself in traditional culture.大圈圈小一一Xitang has nice scenery, but it's quite desolate. Many shops were closed when I went there on New Year's Day. However, I ate at a very good restaurant called Qian Yuman. They were incredibly generous with the freebies and had excellent service.
205***70I visited Puyuan again after a year to see the ginkgo trees. The scenic area was noticeably older than before, and not many new shops had been added. Many people were there to take photos, all concentrated around the ginkgo trees; other areas were not crowded, especially in the morning.跳跳老爷Nanhu Lake is not only beautiful, but also filled with historical stories, particularly those related to the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. There's even a museum there. The scenery is closely integrated with revolutionary education. A guided tour is highly recommended.爱睡懒的鱼丸子Caishen Bay Scenic Spot in Wuzhen's East Gate.
Caishen Bay Scenic Spot in Wuzhen's East Gate is the first comprehensive attraction upon entering the Wuzhen Scenic Area. Visitors often focus on the bamboo pole dance performances, neglecting to appreciate the scenic beauty of the East Market River, the surrounding waterfront houses, and the shoreline streets and alleys.Carrie-cubicThis was the most enjoyable place we visited this year. My child is now obsessed with these immersive NPC experiences. He asks me every day where else we can find something similar. We took him to an escape room, and he still wants more. It seems like this experience really raises his bar.
The NPCs are incredibly engaged, and there are tons of story quests. The scenery is also absolutely beautiful. We absolutely loved it!_M1***41The Qiantang River tidal bore on Christmas Eve wasn't particularly spectacular, but it was still interesting for tourists who hadn't seen it before. However, the park's services definitely need improvement; there weren't many shelters for watching the tide and taking shelter from the rain, nor were there any places to rest.多梅讷刘邦The scenery was nice, but the tickets weren't worth the price. We could only browse the shops and take photos in the evening, as many exhibition halls were closed. Fortunately, the light show at Lingshui Residence saved the day and added a bit of fun. Parking was convenient, tickets were reasonably priced, and the chocolates inside were delicious 😋. I highly recommend going if there are any special events.
