based on 516 reviewsIt's a truly delightful park. Right at the entrance, you'll see a cute pineapple cart, and the park plays cheerful music. The staff were always welcoming, and the guy taking the photos was incredibly dedicated, making it a memorable moment for our small group. Seeing the photos made us eager to buy more. There's also a wide variety of pineapple products. My son said it was a shame there weren't any free tastings like in China, which was a bit disappointing. Haha ...
The 250,000m2 Neo Park Okinawa is home to subtropical plants and animals from the US, South America, and Southeast Asia. It is a nature theme park and the only zoological and botanical garden in Japan. It boasts a vast space. The zoological and botanical garden is divided into several areas, depending on the living environment and habits of the animals and plants, and houses birds, plants, and animals from Oceania, the tropics, and subtropics.

Bought the tickets right at the entrance and received the voucher within 5 minutes. Went to the counter to exchange it for the physical train tickets. There was not many people when i visited the park. Park seemed a little old, fish tanks were dirty, we were unable to see the fishes clearly. It was raining on the day i visited so many animals went into hiding. But we still managed to catch the peacock with its feathers open! It looked so beautiful. We were mesmerised by it. There was scheduled departure times for the train ride, be sure to catch it either before or after you complete the park, as the start point is at level 2 of the entrance.
A parent-child park worth visiting in Okinawa, with many kinds of birds for close interaction and bird flight performances. The train is a must-take, super awesome 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I visited twice in a row. The kids kept asking to go back the next day to touch the animals. The design is very good. You can observe animals and plants up close. Japanese society is built on trust. A small sign tells you what you can and can't do. There are not too many guardrails and glass doors separating people and animals (like in China), and no one is staring at you. The kids feel very good. Recommended. I hope that the quality of Chinese people will improve so that we can get close to animals in China without having to travel so far.
The photo below shows the train schedule. The basic tour process is walking around and taking the train around. The store in the park sells microwave bento for 400 yen. The curry beef rice and shrimp fried rice are both good. There is an area where you can interact with small animals. The ticket price is 300 yen per person. The most classic thing is that you can ride a big turtle.
Nago Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a park with beautiful scenery. Various kinds of trees are planted here. In late autumn, the colors here become particularly brilliant, with layers of red, yellow, and green complementing each other. It is so beautiful that it is indescribable.
The train allows you to see the distribution of small animals in the park. If the weather is good, it is a good idea to spend the morning in the park. There are also many children's play facilities inside, and you can feed the small animals. The children are very happy!
Park Temple is a paradise for children, where you can have close contact with small animals, feed birds, watch fish, and pet pigs. It is very unique and we had a lot of fun. The children were very happy as well, as they could feed birds and fish up close. There were not many people there, and most of them were local parents who brought their children to play.
