Located in Malaysia, the island is famous for its pristine natural scenery, crystal clear waters and rich marine ecology, and is recognized as one of the attractions worth visiting in Malaysia. Located on the east coast of Malaysia, the archipelago is covered with virgin forests, with palm trees swaying in the wind, white coral beaches and blue waters all around. The surrounding waters are habitats for marine life such as corals, turtles and jellyfish. Visitors can also take a glass-bottomed boat to view the underwater world, or rent a kayak to explore hidden bays and caves along the coastline. On the island, there are a variety of accommodation options, from well-equipped resorts to wild seaside cabins. During the day, visitors can enjoy sunbathing on the beach and taste local specialties such as pan-fried manta rays, coconut rice and delicious seafood barbecue; at night, accompanied by the sound of the waves, participate in the bonfire party on the beach, sing and dance with tourists from all over the world, or look up at the bright starry sky and feel the unique romance and tranquility of the island.

I have been to Perhentian 4 times and always come back with great memories. The water is so clean and you will get a lot of food options. Great resorts!
Pulau Perhentian is a tropical paradise you don’t want to miss! With crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and pristine beaches, it’s perfect for snorkeling, diving, or just relaxing. The island’s laid-back vibe and natural beauty make it an ideal getaway for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the best of Malaysia’s coastline.
The most famous thing about the Perhentian Islands is its coastline, which is very beautiful, very peaceful, and the colors are very good. The reflection of the sun is very charming, but you need to pay attention to sun protection.
I stayed at Bubbles Dive Resort - a secluded beach you will get to yourself. Good food, great beach, clear waters, fun snorkelling tours available to see wild turtles (not the ones being fed). I would repeat this place over and over again!!In the morning, you get to see lots of baby sharks just by the little jetty.
