Come to Suzhou and let the beautiful scenery and culture of Suzhou become an unforgettable travel memory!
Lion Grove Garden offers a much richer and better-designed experience compared to the Humble Administrator’s Garden. Unlike the latter, which can feel like a smaller, more static park, Lion Grove truly feels worth the entrance fee. The pathways are dynamic and engaging, guiding you through varied spaces with narrow passages, bridges, dramatic rock formations, and constantly changing views. The garden has character and rhythm, encouraging exploration rather than a simple walk, with each corner feeling intentional and full of story.
We don’t know how was so crowded for the period we was visiting, generally low season.. but was crazy the amount of people streaming around, blocking access and creating queue everywhere, as Chinese as so stricted On everything I thought there was a limit entry at some point but they keep adding people in, tiktokers instagrammers ecc, overall it’s a worth visit for what you pay, the place is beautiful, but with less people would be really better the visit, 7,75/10
Lion Grove Garden is worth a visit. Although small, it's charming. I was a little hesitant to explore it too much with elderly relatives, worried they might not find their way out. A stroll around the area wasn't tiring, and I personally enjoyed it. There were also some pretty young women there, which made me feel great. Youth is truly wonderful!
Suzhou | Classical Zen Gardens in Jiangnan 🍁 The Autumn Charm of Lion Grove ||| Among the many classical gardens in Jiangnan in Suzhou, Lion Grove is a unique Zen garden. From its initial construction to the present, it has played many roles: a forest where monks meditate and attain enlightenment, a scenic spot where literati write poems and paint, a garden where emperors linger, and an old courtyard where aristocratic families live and work. In late autumn and early winter, Lion Grove has both ethereal Zen and mountain forest interest. The pools, rockery and buildings in the garden are particularly quiet and peaceful against the backdrop of autumn colors. Under the setting sun, the sunset makes the golden ginkgo and fiery red maple leaves more colorful. They fall in the rugged stone caves and the quaint house grids, warming the autumn years. Maple leaves and ginkgo leaves dance in the autumn wind, adding a strong autumn atmosphere to the garden. Especially near the "Lion Mountain", the red leaves and stone scenery complement each other, forming a beautiful autumn picture.

Suzhou Lion Forest, with its unique rockery group and long history and culture, is a must-visit place for tourists. Definitely worth going! The highlight of the Lion Forest is its complex and changeable stone lion rockery, which makes people feel like they are in a maze and have endless fun. In addition, the ancient architecture and Zen-like courtyard in the garden are also a great attraction.
