The Postal Museum of the Principality of Liechtensteinwas founded in 1930 and showcases the history of philately and postal services in Liechtenstein.
Although the museum building is quite small, covering only 60–70 square meters, you can see a representative microcosm of the country's philately since Liechtenstein issued its first set of stamps in 1912, including stamps and first-day covers from over 100 countries and regions around the world, making for a colorful display.
There are also many original stamp designs by artists and designers, documents and equipment showcasing the postal history of Liechtenstein (such as hand lanterns, mail bags, post horns, movable type for stamp printing, postmarks, etc.), and other interesting special exhibitions.

Show More ReviewsIt's a very inconspicuous house. If it wasn't built right next to the National Parliament, or if you hadn't made a travel guide in advance, you wouldn't have known it was a world-class philatelic destination. There's no sign outside, and the stamps are dazzling.
