Valencia One-Day Tour | Fulfilling the Dream at Mestalla Valencia, a city full of history and modernity, this trip is not just sightseeing but also a dream come true for fans of the Bat Squad!
Accommodation | Hotel Malcom Barrett
Downstairs is the hotel's own restaurant. Arriving late on the first day, I ordered Valencia paella, which tasted authentic. Actually, the authentic Paella Valenciana is not necessarily seafood-based; traditional Paella Valenciana is made with rabbit, chicken, and snails, while seafood paella (Paella de Marisco) is a later variation.
Day 2 itinerary: Park the car at the hotel, take a taxi at 8:00 AM to Quart Tower, officially starting the walking tour! Morning | Old Town Check-in
Quart Tower & Serranos Tower
Medieval city wall ruins of Valencia, you can climb up to overlook the old town and feel the weight of history! Plaza de la Virgen & Cathedral
Valencia Cathedral combines Gothic, Romanesque, and Baroque styles. It is said to house the "Holy Grail." Climb the Miguelete Tower for panoramic city views.
Silk Exchange & Central Market
The Silk Exchange is a World Cultural Heritage site with a stunning Gothic hall! The Central Market features a high glass dome, with a dazzling array of fruits and seafood, offering an authentic Spanish market atmosphere! Plaza del Ayuntamiento
The central landmark of Valencia, with beautiful Baroque architecture.
Afternoon | Beach & Modern Architecture Valencia Beach
Feel the sea breeze and the lazy Mediterranean vibe; a short stop here is very relaxing!
Lunch | Xiang Yu CHI.LA
After traveling for more than ten days, finally had a Chinese meal! This Hunan restaurant tastes good and is affordable. I had twice-cooked pork, tomato beef brisket, and cured meat fried rice, instantly feeling very happy! City of Arts and Sciences (Evening Check-in)
We came here in the evening, the most futuristic landmark complex in Valencia! The night view is stunning, with various sci-fi style buildings reflected on the water, perfect for photos. If you have time, you can visit during the day for a deeper experience; this time we mainly came to check in and take pictures.
Evening | Watch the Copa del Rey at Mestalla Mestalla Stadium
Valencia vs. Barcelona (Copa del Rey), a 0:5 defeat, but watching a match at the Mestalla Stadium built in 1923 is already a dream come true! Hope the Bat Squad rises soon; next time I come, the new stadium should be completed!
