Anonymous userAnonymous userClimbing to the top of the Stork Tower, one can gaze at the Yellow River where the water meets the sky, and the expansive view instantly relaxes the mind; going downstairs, touching the ancient bricks and listening to the sound of the copper bells on the eaves in the wind, one is overwhelmed by a sense of history.

Mountain climbing
当地向导逍遥遊当地向导逍遥遊Yongji Wulao Peak is one of the 72 blessed places of Taoism. It is named after the Five Elders of the Five Directions who passed on the River Map and Luoshu to Emperor Shun. It is also the place where the founder Lu Dongbin practiced Taoism and ascended to heaven, so it is a Taoist holy place. The five peaks of Wulao Peak face the sky, and the mountain is majestic. The main peak, Yuzhu Jinding, is more than 1,800 meters above sea level. It is a pillar that supports the sky and overlooks all the mountains, which is spectacular.

M52***71M52***71The Yellow River Datie Niu is located on the east bank of the Yellow River outside the west gate of the ancient city of Zhangzhou, Yongji City, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. It was cast in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty (725 AD) to stabilize the Fujin pontoon bridge and maintain the traffic of Qin and Jin. Yujindu is an important ferry on the ancient Yellow River, and it has been the traffic of Qin and Jin since ancient times. During the Xuanzong period of Tang Dynasty, in order to strengthen the rule of Hedong, he decided to rebuilt the Yujin Bridge, changed the bamboo rope of Lianzhou to iron rope, and cast four iron cattle as rope piles. Each of the four iron cattle is about1.9 meters high, about 3 meters long, about1.3 meters wide, weighs about 30 tons, plus chassis and iron columns, each iron cattle can weigh up to 70 tons. The casting process is extremely complicated, the ancients used yellow wax to shape, then burned with clear mud, and finally filled with iron water to solidify. In the five-line culture, "cow elephant, earthen, earth wins water", casting iron cattle can play the role of water in the five-line, the town guarding the Yellow River so that it will not break the embankment, so the local people also called these four iron cattle "town river iron cattle". The Yellow River Datie Niu is located on the east bank of the Yellow River outside the west gate of the Zhangzhou City site, 15 kilometers west of Yongji City, between Puji Temple and the Peak House. It is known as the Yujindu, which is a famous ferry on the ancient Yellow River. In 1989, after more than a year of exploration, the Yongji County Museum found four iron cattle, four iron people, two iron mountains, a group of seven-star iron pillars and three earth and stone mounds on the site of the Jindu. Because the protection of iron cultural relics is a worldwide problem, coupled with the difficulties encountered in actual construction, the Yellow River iron cattle have been placed on the shore in the open air since they were unearthed. The Yellow River iron cattle is an important part of the Fujin pontoon bridge, witnessing the brilliant achievements of ancient Chinese bridge engineering. There is an iron man next to each iron cow, representing different ethnic groups, showing the openness and tolerance of the great Tang Dynasty. The rise and fall of iron cattle reflects the development and changes of ancient Chinese politics, economy and military, and also enriches the history of ancient Chinese bridges. The Yellow River is not only a historical witness of the strong national strength of the Tang Dynasty and the wisdom of the ancient working people, but also an important symbol of the Yellow River culture.

M52***71M52***71The site of Yujindu is located in the west of Xixiang Village, Zhangzhou Town, Yongji City, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. It is an important site with rich historical relics and the first large-scale ferry site excavated in China. It is one of the three ancient ferry crossings in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, connecting Hedong and Guanzhong. According to the "Spring and Autumn Zuo Chuan", in 541 BC, Qin Gongzi Xian built a pontoon bridge here, and opened the river before the construction of the bridge in Jindu. Since then, Qin Zhao Xiang Wang, Han Gaozu, Han Wudi, and Yuan Wendi have all built a pontoon bridge here. Twelve years in Kaiyuan (AD 724), Tang Xuanzong's Ministry of the Army Shang Shu Zhang said that he presided over the transformation of the Yujin Bridge, using iron cattle and iron chains to strengthen the bridge, so that it was more stable. The transformation cost about 1,100 tons of iron, accounting for the total annual output of the country's iron. At the time of Jinyuan, the pontoon bridge was destroyed in the fire, and only iron cattle were left. The Ming Dynasty used iron cattle to rebuild the pontoon bridge many times, until the Qing Dynasty due to the Yellow River diversion, the Jindu gradually abandoned. In 1989, the Jindu site unearthed Tang Kaiyuan iron cattle four, iron man four, iron mountain two, iron pillar four, seven star iron pillar group and Ming Dynasty shore revet stone embankment. The iron cattle are beautifully shaped, weighing about 55 tons to 75 tons, divided into two groups of north and south, arranged in eight shapes. The archaeological discoveries of the Jindu site have great value for studying the political, economic, military, cultural and bridge history, smelting and casting technology, and the changes of the Yellow River in the Tang Dynasty. From 1999 to 2005, the State Administration of Cultural Relics approved and implemented the project for the protection of the Yujindu site, raising the unearthed cultural relics in their original location by12.2 meters to avoid erosion by the Yellow River flood. The Yujindu site has now been built as a ruins park, including the entrance area of the scenic spot, the ferry site area, the imitation Tang floating bridge area, the cultural relics exhibition area, etc. Visitors can enjoy the cultural relics such as the iron cattle and iron people of the Tang Dynasty and learn about the historical style of the ancient Yellow River ferry. The Jindu site is not only the crystallization of the wisdom of ancient working people, but also an important physical data for studying the ancient bridge engineering, smelting technology and the changes of the Yellow River in China.

不爱笑的鱼啊哈酱不爱笑的鱼啊哈酱The elderly are free of tickets, and the price is infinite! There is no cableway in the scenic area, no sightseeing car, pure hiking, although the equipment is a lot of shabby, the shops are not open, it seems that the business is light, but the water is sufficient, along the valley, not tired or hot, the deeper the scenery, the better, the air is definitely good! Worth a visit!

M15***70M15***70[Yongle Palace Experience: Journey Through a Yuan-Century Taoist Art Hall] Visiting Yongle Palace in Ruicheng, Shanxi, is a truly breathtaking pilgrimage! Though tucked away in a small town, this Taoist temple, built during the Yuan Dynasty, is breathtaking with its unparalleled mural art and architectural style. 🌟 Highlights: 1. Treasure Murals: The "Chao Yuan Tu" in the Sanqing Hall is a pinnacle of Eastern art—286 deities, 4 meters high, dance in graceful robes, their cinnabar and azurite colors remaining dazzling even after 700 years. Standing within the hall, you can almost hear celestial music and experience the harmony between man and nature as captured by Yuan-Cheng painters. 2. Architectural Marvels: The monumental relocation of the palace in the 1950s for the Three Gorges Project adds to its legendary charm. Walking through the hip-and-gable roofed, Yuan-Cheng wooden structure, you can gaze upon the intricate mortise and tenon joints of the caisson ceiling, and every carved chiwen pattern speaks to the wisdom of the ancients. 3. Immersive Experience: The scenic area utilizes a dark-lighting system, making the details of the murals even more sacred under soft lighting. We recommend renting a guide (a great value at 20 yuan) to understand the subtle metaphors within the legendary story of Lü Dongbin. ⚠️ Notes: • Flash photography is strictly prohibited inside the temple. You can purchase the official album (198 yuan) to collect your own. • It is recommended to enter at 9:00 a.m. to avoid the midday tour group rush. • Combine this with a day trip to the Jiezhou Guandi Temple in southern Shanxi. The most profound feeling of this trip: While modern people are accustomed to fragmented visual stimulation, standing before these murals, the product of a lifetime of labor, I suddenly understood the meaning of "timeless aesthetic shock." Perhaps this is the meaning of cultural heritage: allowing us to connect with the Chinese nation's most magnificent artistic soul through the intersection of time and space.

meetEmilymeetEmilyI highly recommend watching a show! It really immersively shows the traditional Chinese classical love story. All the actors are also very dedicated. It rained on the day of the performance, and the scenic spot gave out raincoats. The actors were not affected at all. It was really touching. The plot is coherent and the transition is reasonable, which makes the trip to Shanxi gain extra surprises!
