A lovely small hotel right in the center of Sóller, just steps away from the train station that hosts the historic train to Palma and the tram stop leading to Port De Sóller. The main square, cafes, restaurants, shopping streets, bakeries, and key attractions are all within walking distance. You can also start great hikes directly from town on the GR walking trail. The local bus service to Valldemossa and Deià is fast and convenient. We stayed in a charming room that wasn’t in the main building—it was clean, comfortable, and spacious, featuring a great bathroom and a walk-in shower. The mountain view rooms in the main building must be stunning! The small pool was delightful, perfect for relaxing after a day of walking. Breakfast was excellent, available starting at 7:30 am, and could be enjoyed either in the restaurant or the lovely courtyard. Though we didn’t have much interaction with the staff, they were courteous and responsive whenever we did. This hotel is an excellent choice for a short getaway or a stay of up to a week.

The structure you see in Sóller's vibrant main square is the Església de Sant Bartomeu (Church of Saint Bartholomew)—and honestly, it’s an architectural flex you won’t find anywhere else! Located at Plaça de sa Constitució, 1, 07100 Sóller, Mallorca, Spain, this Insta-worthy spot is a total must-see for history buffs, design geeks, and anyone chasing unique Mediterranean vibes. Architecture & History This church has been serving looks since the 13th century—with a mash-up of epic styles that slap. The facade? Pure Catalan Modernisme (aka Art Nouveau), totally leveled-up with Gothic vibes. Designed in 1904 by Joan Rubió i Bellver (yep, Gaudí’s protégé!), the jaw-dropping exterior was finished in 1947. Up close, you’ll spot a massive rose window, pointed gables, organic stone carvings, and fierce sculpted angels protecting the doors. But that’s just the start. Step inside and get hit with a whole Baroque mood—the interior dates back to a glam renovation between 1688 and 1733, so it’s basically a living timeline of Mallorca’s golden eras. This church is a testament to Sóller’s prosperity from the orange trade and its key role in Mediterranean history. Era Highlights (🏰➡️😲) Medieval Origins (1230s): Born soon after the Catalan conquest of Mallorca, the original church was a fortress against pirate raids. Baroque Era (1688–1733): The church got a glow-up! Swapped medieval bones for a grand, ornate Baroque interior that’s still stunning today. Modernisme Facelift (1904–1947): Sóller’s wealth exploded thanks to local oranges, so the town went full Art Nouveau—commissioning Rubió i Bellver to give the church a dramatic limestone makeover. How to Visit (Travel Basics) Pop by the center of Sóller’s social scene, right in Plaça de sa Constitució, and check out: · The epic nave (sooo grand!) · The impressive organ (seriously, it’s a classic) · The glowing rose window with colored sunlight streaming inside. · Optional: Tiny museum on site for just one extra euro Hours & Fees · Entry: €2 per person (adult general entry) · Combo ticket (church + museum): €3 · Morning is prime time! Sunbeams create gorgeous light shows through the window. Bonus Tip 🚋 Pair your visit with a ride on the iconic wooden Tren de Sóller tram—it rattles right past the church square, so you can easily hop from town center to the port. Looking for a spot that’s dripping in history, serving serious design inspo, and totally easy to visit? Església de Sant Bartomeu is the Sóller vibe you need on your Mallorca itinerary! #church #catholic_church #churchlover #churchgoals #churchviews #churcharchitecture #churchhistory #churchesofeurope #churchvibes #spaintravel #spain #mallorcatravel #mallorca

This boutique adults-only hotel in the center of Soller is absolutely stunning. We spent 6 nights here and had an unforgettable experience. The booking process was seamless with their excellent website, and upon arrival, we were greeted warmly with a cold glass of cava on the balcony overlooking the pool—an ideal way to unwind. Our room, number 6, was at the top of a gorgeous staircase and ready within 15 minutes of our 1 PM arrival—truly outstanding service. The team, including Matthew, Sophie, and Karen, was exceptional, always friendly, helpful, and engaging, making us feel completely at home in these beautiful surroundings. Breakfast and lunch were delicious, with top-notch flavors and service. Enjoying drinks by the pristine pool throughout the day was a highlight. The pool area and the entire hotel were spotless and well-maintained. Pool beds were always set up daily with fresh towels, creating a tranquil and sunny retreat. The hotel’s décor was impeccable, and our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and spotless cleanliness. It exceeded our expectations in every way for our stay in Soller. You can easily walk to fantastic restaurants nearby, and the staff can arrange a taxi to the port for €13-15 if needed. This hotel truly delivered everything we hoped for and more.

We stayed here from September 1st to 7th and had a truly lovely experience. The house is newly refurbished, and we were warmly welcomed by Jesús, a friendly and helpful host who provided lots of useful information. The property is small, with only five bedrooms, but it’s authentic and beautifully appointed. It’s also in a great location for exploring Soller. Our room was comfortable, featuring a private terrace with two sunbeds and plenty of storage space. Breakfast was self-service, offering a nice selection of fruits, yogurt, and local produce, including eggs cooked to your preference, alongside excellent coffee. It truly felt like a home away from home! The property also boasts a relaxing garden area that we thoroughly enjoyed. It’s a delightful spot, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Mallorca is a much larger island than you might expect. If you book your accommodations in a single location or without considering your travel route, you will end up spending more than three hours a day traveling back and forth in your car. Here are three recommended locations for the most efficient accommodations based on your travel style, along with connecting itineraries. 1. Recommended Accommodation Locations by Region in Mallorca Palma City Center (Palma de Mallorca) — [First Visit / Public Transport / Gourmet & Shopping Hub] Features: It is a 15-minute drive from the airport and is densely packed with Palma Cathedral, the Old Town, famous restaurants, and brand shops. You can stay out late at night, and it is convenient for using connecting tours. Disadvantages: Hotels in the city center often have limited parking spaces or high daily parking fees. If using a rental car, it is essential to check if your accommodation has a private parking lot. Sóller or Port de Sóller — [Relaxation / Charming Small Town / Rest Hub] Features: A quaint, fairytale-like village in the western mountainous region. It is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset at the restaurants lining the beach, with wooden trams passing by. Disadvantage: The western mountain roads are narrow and winding, which can be challenging for novice drivers when driving at night. Portenza or Southeastern Beach (Port de Pollença / Cala d'Or) — [Beach Snorkeling / Rental Car Only] Features: Close to famous cliff beaches (Calas) such as Cala Moro and Cala Lombards, and features many resort-style accommodations with relatively easy parking. Disadvantage: It takes some time to travel to downtown Palma or the airport. 2. Practical Tips for Driving & Parking Rental Cars Vehicle Selection: Since the alleys and mountain roads in small towns (Valldemossa, Deia) are very narrow, small hatchbacks or compact SUVs are much more convenient for passing and parking. Parking in the Blue Line (Zona ORA): You must pay for a parking ticket using a self-service payment machine or the dedicated app (mobiAPParc) and place it on the inside of the vehicle's windshield. If you are charged a fee due to exceeding the time limit, press the 'Cancel' button on the payment machine and insert the fee (approximately 6 euros) to have it cancelled immediately. 3. Recommended 3-Night, 4-Day Itinerary Day 1 (Palma City Center) Visit Palma Cathedral (Catedral de Mallorca) ➔ Stroll through the alleys of the Old Town ➔ Watch the sunset at the lake area in front of the cathedral [Accommodation: Palma City Center] Day 2 (Western Charm Small Town) Valldemossa Village ➔ Deía Viewpoint ➔ Arrive in Sóller city center, take the wooden tram to Port de Sóller and have seafood paella for lunch [Accommodation: Palma City Center or Sóller] Day 3 (Southeast Emerald Beaches) Arrive at Caló des Moro or Cala Piquera before 9:30 AM for snorkeling ➔ Transfer to Ses Salines for lunch [Accommodation: Palma City Center or Southeast] Day 4 (Northern Drive & Return) Cap de Formentor Viewpoint ➔ Souvenir shopping in city center, then airport Move #MallorcaAccommodationLocation #MallorcaTravel #SpainMallorca #MallorcaAccommodation #MallorcaRentalCar #PalmaCathedral #Sóller #Calamoro #Valldemossa #SpainTravel #EuropeanResort

SolleRooms is ideally situated just off the main Soller Square, offering a peaceful stay. The guesthouse is spotless and well-maintained. The rooms come with air-conditioning, excellent shower/bathroom facilities, and sleek screeded floors. There's a variety of pillows to choose from, and the bed is very comfortable. They also provide amenities like suitcase lockers, toilets, and showers for use after check-out, which is convenient for those with late flights. Since there's no parking available in Soller, it's better to take a train from Palma or a taxi. Soller itself is a stunning town with a wide range of restaurants, cafes, and bars. While the square is vibrant and great for dining, explore the surrounding areas for more food options, all of which are welcoming. The square's atmosphere is lively with children playing around. If you're taking the Soller tram, mornings are less crowded, but the return journey from the port can be chaotic, so patience is key.

I think the reviews are too harsh. For €9 per person, this place is a delightful oasis just outside the center of Soller. I'm sure it varies depending on the time of year, but we visited in September and it was wonderful. The flowers and scents were heavenly, even if not overly abundant. There’s lots of seating scattered around and good walkways. I would definitely visit again!

Perfect Charter truly lives up to its name—our trip was absolutely amazing. We spent a full day (8 hours) cruising on Searendipity from Port de Soller, and it was unforgettable. Our captain, Rafael, was outstanding: he was engaging, entertaining, and made our experience so enjoyable by taking us to gorgeous spots for swimming and relaxation. For our group of five girls, it was the highlight of our trip! The boat was always comfortable, and Rafael ensured our preferences were taken into account for the itinerary. Communication prior to the trip was also clear and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend Perfect Charter, Searendipity, and Rafael—it was easily the best boat day I've ever had!

Our stay at Hotel Can Roses was spectacular! It's one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever experienced, boasting stunning grounds, breathtaking views of the Tramuntana mountains, and a delightful pool. The ambiance throughout the hotel is serene, calm, and inviting, and the staff were all so kind and welcoming. We especially adored Heidi, the resident hotel dog! The lobby exudes charm, while the immaculate grounds and spotless rooms added to the overall elegance. Breakfast each morning was the perfect start to the day, paired with lovely views and a variety of delicious continental options, alongside eggs made to order. With the bar open all day, it was easy to enjoy a drink by the pool or have one delivered to your room. The location is ideal, just a short 5-minute walk to Soller’s main square, offering access to shops, restaurants, the tram to Port de Soller, and the train to Palma. If you opt for certain rooms, you might need to navigate older stone steps, but the helpful hotel team is always on hand to assist with luggage. Every detail about this hotel is charming and delightful—I absolutely can’t wait to return!
The town of Soller is located in the northwest of Mallorca. It is a beautiful town surrounded by citrus groves in a canyon basin. Every street and every corner exudes the exotic style of the Iberian Peninsula. Staying here for a night is a good choice.
GeorgezouParma City Cathedral is located next to the Royal Palace of Parma. While not luxurious, the cathedral is exquisite, with distinctive stained-glass windows. Visitors can climb to the top of the cathedral; one side offers views of Parma's old town, while the other overlooks the Mediterranean Sea.
133***50A beautiful town! Chopin and George's former residence is a monastery. There are not many tourists, but the management is still neat and orderly, and the transportation is also convenient.
