La Villa des Arts

A lovely original restaurant, good service, and good food. It is quite expensive but worth it. We ate the gravalax salad - which was a surprise as in my head I'd imagined smoked salmon and it was raw salmon. The salmon rillettes were delicious. The other main was the veal which was superb.

The young gentleman working there was running around and trying very hard. The hostess was pretty rude. We booked a table and was told we could maybe be squeezed in even though the place was half empty. We were not going to beg to be served so after being given menus, no wine list and 25 minutes for a drink, we left and went to le duplex which was fantastic

A disastrous evening.After arriving on time for our reservation with nobody else in the restaurant it took an age for our bottle of wine to be served.After our starter eventually arrived we waited over one and a half hours for our main course which by the time it arrived we actually didn’t want to eat, let alone enjoy.The service was incredibly slow.Staff were conspicuous by there absence and had no regard for there customers.No one apologised for any delay.We couldn’t leave quick enough after a very mediocre main course, so the restaurant lost a dessert sale as well as a customer for the future!Don’t waist your time, there are plenty of other eateries to enjoy.

As usual, very good restaurant with a lot of choice and very attentive staff who are at the service of their customers, I recommend!

Classy restaurant with a decor that immerses us in a very gentle atmosphere conducive to tasting very, very good cuisine, impeccable service and welcoming, helpful, very polite staff attentive to customers, do not hesitate to linger there...
